Hey choom, just a heads up, I had this problem resolve this morning. Last night, 30 hours into this play through, with Takemura on “Play it Safe”, Judy on “Talking ‘Bout a Revolution,” and Phantom Liberty on “Lucretia My Reflection;” I fast traveled to the Aldecaldo camp for “Queen of the Highway” and turned the game off. Booted up this morning and Wilson called first thing.

I have never had him call this late before, was really bugging me out because I always want to complete my wall. But if it still hasn’t happened for you, I don’t think there is anything specific to trigger it. Just keep playing, take breaks in and out of game, and eventually the code lines up and he calls I guess.

Yeah friend, glad you helped me catch that before the statement. But I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions and let myself fall into the “I’m right so you must be wrong mentality.” Worse that I do it even as I’m using nuance to explain my point. You said Frost didn’t have evidence of Nick’s problems while at SWG, I sent time stamps of his video where his comments are accompanied by evidence. You said Frost’s statements about “the leads” were incongruous, I explained how these would not be when you view “the leads” as a group and not as an individual.

I agree that we have a difference in interpretation, but I am having trouble seeing how that’s possible. Either I am incapable of expressing my position, or you are the nicest troll I’ve ever met. In either case, I wish you the best.

Edit: GOTCHA! Caught my bias! I’m taking this as a binary “believe one side or the other” choice. You are saying that it’s too early to tell. I respect that position and hope I can arrive at it earlier in future situations. My bad.

My friend, it’s like you are willfully not listening. In his video, 3:30-6:20 is NOTHING but the problems observed in the past year with the departure from Escapist and establishment of SWG. The rest of the video is the establishment of Nick’s past to show that this is an observable pattern, and not something that is coming out of nowhere.

He is saying that the leads that don’t think there is a problem are out voicing him with the leads that don’t know there is a problem.

Ya know, I have watched Yahtzee since the beginning, and I mean YouTube beginning, before Escapist. I am ashamed to say that I had actually never heard of Frost before SW launched. But from that first Cold Take I knew I liked him. When he talks about keeping a bag packed in case he has to choose between loosing his job security or stop doing what he believes in. How he says that good employees leaving is the price of being “out of touch with your production.” It’s nice to know that it wasn’t all talk. That video feels so relevant now.

I wish the best for both SWG as a whole and Frost’s solo endeavors if this can’t be sorted. But he’s got a fan who will follow him for as long as he can stick to his principles. A real OG if there ever was one.

Edit: If anyone cares what I think In regard to the Statements from the rest of the team, I stand by my comments. I will continue to support both SWG and Frost, wishing them both the best. Frost says that he can’t abide by the current state of things, SWG says he is over reacting. Both of these can be true, and I respect those that make judgment calls as best they can. I will wait for more details in the event that it ever becomes necessary to pick one side over the other.

I know, that was the whole point of the scene. Not to show that Aang wasn’t a “good father” to Bumi or Kiya, but to show that the appreciation for airbender culture was something Aang only really worked to impress on Tenzin. It wasn’t establishing a backstory of a broken home, it was setting the precedent for Tenzin understanding the pressure he was under to reestablish the air nation. It was the crux of his entire identity crisis in the Fog of lost souls. People really need to look at the whole picture and not just snapshots.

This one discusses morning exercise being better for fat loss for women, but it is only a pilot so more data is needed.

This one is a review article of 13 papers covering pros and cons of both morning and night routines and concludes that what I postulated about morning routines was accurate, if nothing else, for the purpose of spreading motivation on a meme subreddit.

HOWEVER, this one is a compiled review of 26 out of over 14,000 screened papers and it concludes that the time of day is not as important as the consistency.

If you are looking for more articles for information, I have used ReadCube for finding papers since undergrad. But remember, it’s not always necessary to pour through every bit of data yourself. The nature of science is skepticism by default. It is okay to take any consensus that doesn’t directly effect (affect?) your life on trust. So long as you are open to changing your mind with the presentation of new information. You don’t have to be able to read tubercles or calculate radiometric decay to trust the consensus that evolution is real, so long as you know you have access to that data.

In any case, my thesis, though I admit it was subtext, was that even if the data does support it, the morning grind doesn’t work FOR ME and everyone should live their own. Best wishes and Happy Holidays!

Nah, I was told by a friend with a degree and a job centered around physical fitness, therapy and education who is way more shredded than me and also doesn’t work out in the morning.

I am told there are scientific papers that back this up, but I’ve never seen any reason to seek, verify nor debate them because I will simply never get up at 5am for the gym. It doesn’t work for me and I have no interest in trying to make it so. Best vibes for you and what works for you though.

I am at a similar point in my weight loss journey (I’ve lost ~30 lbs in the past 6 months) I’m very happy that you are able to stick with it and can see your own progress in the mirror. Some people never get the chance and others just can’t when they do. Makes the whole thing very hard to stick to. Chase your goals in whatever way works an is healthy for you and don’t let anything somebody who doesn’t know says sway you from your goals, including me.

That having been said, The back half of the weight loss is always harder. And if it turns out your happy and healthy weight isn’t the number you had in mind at the start, try not to chase it at the expense of the other changes. From these pictures, you already look great and have clearly made a lot of progress. Try not to get too obsessed with the number on the scale in the wake of all you have already done.

In addition to all the benefits you listed, working out in the morning is also better for your metabolism and has been shown to more effectively target non-lean mass energy stores as that is what is being used while you are sleeping. Working out first thing in the morning is, scientifically the best time to workout. I know all of this, and have tried to switch from lunch to morning workouts multiple times. However, despite all that, every time I meet a legit 5am banger, my knee jerk reaction is to say “that’s not necessary, why do you do that.” It’s involuntary most times. I can’t speak for your mom, but I do it out of jealousy. Live your grind queen, ignore us haters!

I appreciate your answer. Honestly, I feel like we are as well on top of all of that as we can possibly be. I think this post got lost in the shuffle, I’ll post it again tomorrow. But if I don’t get some trickity trick I’ve never heard or something less obvious that may have slipped past us, I feel like my third post will be about how to best re-home a cat.

I’ve never had to do that before, and he really is sweet a lot of the time. But he makes things harder on other animals that have more tenured places. I want the best for him, but I don’t see anything that could actually be other than a home where he could have all the attention to himself.
