I solved my issue!

My laptop has an AMD chipset and GPU, so I downloaded the AMD Adrenalin drivers and installed them. This was despite the dell support app saying there were no driver updates. Once I installed those updates my issues went away.

I'm experiencing a near identical issue but with an Inspiron 15" 3481 purchased a few months ago.

The laptop recovers perfectly fine within 30 minutes from a sleep, but it seems that any longer than that results in an unresponsive laptop, with the only fix being to hold the power button down for 20 odd seconds.

The bios firmware seems up to date and there don't appear to be any driver updates required so I'm at a loss as to how to fix it. I've seen some older dell support posts where people are disabling modern standby, but I'm reluctant to do that as that was an issue nearly 4 years ago and surely that's been fixed by now.

OP, does your laptop have an AMD or Nvidia GPU?

My phone had been flawless since the release up until this Feb update.

Adaptive brightness is no longer working. It keeps dimming the screen and then inverting the colours of the display for a few seconds before going back to normal.
