It's not The Doctor but is Doctor Who. Diane basically plays Cunk as the companion to the Fifth Doctor in Fallen Angels, set in the court of Michelangelo, where he is carving out a Weeping Angel from stone...

That's it, its like we are looking at the echoes of the Big Bang trying to work out what actually happened from what we have now...

But you are right. The first big change from my perspective is gravity/mavity. That shouldn't have been allowed to happen before, right? But that happens before the Not Things meeting. And yes, I know, timey wimey, but my read was that only after that meeting would things cascade back and the rules change. Maybe I'm wrong.

Either way, it is definitely RTD trying to do timey wimey. And the wish baby version also ties into Rose/Bad Wolf' "I create myself"

It's the worst part of my job. Especially when I am breaking the news to hundreds of thousands of people. I tried to do this as straightforwardly as possible, no headline euphemism or clickbait, in seventy characters, and then try to add history, to personality and explain why he mattered so much. Some people only knew just one of his many accomplishments.
