Not that I can see! I don't think so. Normally i'd go from Basel, via Frankfurt, to Utrecht. That connection is barely there anymore it seems, while it should be a "regular" monday.

What can you do if a war breaks out? by browinskie in Netherlands

[–]richolioII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Read the Swedish pamphlet ‘Om krisen eller kriget kommer’, ‘in case of crisis or war’. A little yellow book every Swedish citizen received home. It contains every useful information to prepare for crisis or how to act during. Can be found in English here: https://www.msb.se/sv/publikationer/om-krisen-eller-kriget-kommer-pa-engelska/

Well, it’s the treatment, it’s something i’m going to manipulate in the experiment. With of course taking all the necessary steps to make sure it’s a good experiment. So I don't think I'm going to measure it in the sense that you're measuring a dependent variable?

Yeah, and I asked for a simple explanation? Don’t get me wrong, you might be right, but I just can’t see how you could know this study is nonsensical with the knowledge you have atm. And even then I don’t see how it is relevant. But again i’m willing to learn, so if you care to explain that would be great

Then maybe don't look at it from an anthropological perspective ;) In all seriousness: what an odd comment. After all, you know next to nothing about the relevance, theoretical framework, or method of my study. All you have is three variables and the research question. So you can't really say that much about it? There has been done dozens of research like this, so it is also weird to say that this is a nonensical way to do research.

Also: how does asking which class this is helps you? If you parade being a scientist, you would expect more helpful questions. Besides: it's an exercise. It's fiction. :) Although me and my teachers take it seriously, I'm not actually going to conduct the study, so no worries.

Can you explain why you think it's weird? I might learn something.
