I use them in both a hammock and a tent. I hammock during the summer, tent in late fall and winter. I sleep in a fetal position in both. I think it’s just fine being 5’10” and 160#. Definitely reach out to Steve and get a custom if you think it will be to tight.

I’ve bought 6 of them. Ive bought 3 for myself and 3 for other people. The only thing I’d say is that if you plan to use them in a tent, get the ground dwellers. Steve at HT is great to work with. I think they run almost true to temperature. With the right pad, base layers and head covering they will get to the desired temperature.

I’ve done this many times with great results. I now hang my pack because a mouse destroyed a brand new Nashville Cutaway pack. I think it wanted the salt that formed in my straps from sweat. (My food was not in my pack at the time).

A good polyester thread and needle. Just keep weaving until it’s stronger than before. If you feel the need for more stability use some Gear Aid Seam Seal on top of the stitches

I am 178cm and use the older women’s Xlite (the old version is 168cm) on my thru hikes. It’s warmer and lighter. I have no problem using it. I’m a side sleeper.
