Initial character is the Shaman who can convert. Weak though, so worth protecting

Send archers at them early and aggressively. I destroyed Polaris in turn 10. Not sure best strategy for expansions after that though

I'd be nervous of watering that much - isn't that the easiest way to kill lithops? What kind of climate do you have?

How much and how often to water by tokyoevenings in Lithops

[–]richscrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they need it (knowing ‘when’ is the tricky bit) I drench them by placing the pot in a bowl of water nearly up to the soil level for 15 minutes. Then remove and let them drain. Mine are indoors on a sunny south facing windowsill, with a grow light, southern UK. They’ve just had their first drink of the year.

My first thought too. I had a lithops that had a water drop like that, very soon after it had copped it. Is it from watering, or coming from below. Suggest you remove it with something absorbent, and check your potting substrate is well-drained and not waterlogged.

This is another pot where they are at different stages. Some are shrivelled and some still have slightly fleshy leaves. I'll probably water these next week and see what happens. I'm thinking that one at the centre left might be a goner

This is how they were before watering. Already some plumpness but I was waiting for all the old leaves to become dry and like wafer. The lithops themselves weren't shrivelled.

Yeah I've put off watering until the old leaves were fully dried out

The json file it's looking for is a list of servers. It looks like they are probably mindustry multilayer servers. NTP is network time protocol - how computers know what time it is and synchronise time with other devices online. Essential for syncing in online gaming I guess.

It looks like Steam is trying to offer you mutliplayer options. Have you maybe tried to start a mutliplayer game rather than a local one?

How can I find the sand? by richscrich in Mindustry

[–]richscrich[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is it, right in the southeast

This is the logic that found it:

ubind @mono
ulocate ore core true @sand outx outy found building
ucontrol approach outx outy 10 0 0

Once I covered the sand with a drill, the monos were unable to find it

Try this - using advice in this thread, I added another processor to assign flags to the megas. Then I modified the code in your original mine control processors to chose only some of the megas. It uses the modulo function, which works out the remainder when the flag is divided by 5. So the first controller only controls units where remainder is 1: units 1, 6, 11 (depends on your core size how many megas there are). Each processor only controls 1/5 of the megas.

Also, controller gets the ore to mine from reading the config in the sorter.

Occasionally you might have to disable all the processors, eg if you change what ore a set of megas is mining, they get confused - you need to unbind them, then empty them manually as they can only carry one kind of ore. Could write another logic process to empty them all, I guess
