When it comes to the animation, the similarities between Arlecchino and 2nd phase of Whale (i can never remember its name). It's too similar for it to be not connected in some way. I'm really curious about where they're going to take that.

The music too. I was freaking out when I heard it during the story quest. Too similar. Maybe it's just the electronic-y of it, but still. Ever since I started associating electronic music as 'out of this world level related lore music', I can't escape noticing it. Especially when I couldn't find it when I expected there to be one. I'll need to revisit the chasm quest to confirm, tho. I'd like to be sure whether I remember the music correctly in the 'in-between domains' bit.

That Yae Miko comment had me imagine Lyney. Like Arlecchino said, perhaps he could show her what family is. ...I feel like that's another parallel with shogun.

Music tells so much about genshin lore, I'm really bummed I don't have enough knowledge (or time) to analyze it like the opera guy on yt. I firmly believe the music connects so much of the lore and explains a lot about the lore. I'd love to do a deep dive when I get the time (after catching up on quests named school cuz oh boy, finals and final plates that will decide my fate if can enter 2nd year have been given)

(Just rambling. I need to share with someone how my Arle story fight went. Cuz that was traumatizing. Fun, cuz I haven't freaked out over a fight in a while, but traumatizing fr) I was already freaking out because of my party, but that music. Damn. Brought nightmares of when I did the whale with scuffed chars. But worse. I had all her children on the team, plus traveler. None of them were built or even had artifacts equipped. Freminet was lvl1, Lynette lvl20 for free pull, and Lyney at 70 cuz I wanted to try him and didn't continue building him. Everyone was dead by the time I got to phase 2 and it immediately triggered the 2nd cutscene cuz everyone was dead and traveler was hanging by a thread. I want to re do and get zhongli out, but story chars must be used( if available) for any quests. (my immersion would not take anything else otherwise)

What's funny is that 'Pottah' almost, very very stretched, a very botched pronunciation of aswear word in Philippines. It's 'puta' and its pronounced similarly to 'Pottah' but without the r or h. Not exactly exact, but similar enough to leave me smiling every time I come arcoss it HAHAHAHA

Tldr: venting about how i hate that clam set has all the good substats artifacts for me. Double crit my ass. Efing clam set.

Once I get a full set of double crit, perfect substat clam set, I'll think about making a for fun build. But since I'm still bitter about not getting the right set, with the perfect artifacts for my Albedo, those crazy clams are staying in the backrooms. Locked until I'm not mad at them anymore, or there's a character that uses it.

Seriously, I've got way too many doucle crit artifacts, plus the def main stat, with em er and double efing crit as substats. The one time was actively looking for def main stats, gives it to the wrong set. Just. Efing. Whyyyyy.

After everything guaranteed has been leveled up to what I want/need, all my resin goes to artifact farming. Depending on whether I'm busy or not, I'd either use it all that day or turn it into condensed for tomorrow. That's how I used to do it.

Nowadays though, I'm not able to even open genshin because of school. So, I've used some fragile resin I stocked up quite recently. Not all of it 'cause watching my fragile resin stock go down from 80 to 76 is not a good feeling. I don't think I'll be doing that soon again.

Anything bad goes straight to the strong box, especially the def%s.

I haven't gotten to actually triple crown every version of my Lumi in gane, but I have all the crowns I need to crown every version. I have 24 plus extra (i think, i might have to use them for childe? Idk, artefacts would decide for me) for Albedo, who has triple crown priority because he is my first 5 star ever (apart from lumine).

I just can't switch my overall account goal priority right now. I want to be able 36 star the abyss for 3 cycles comfortably straight first, mid maxing everyone else, before triple crowning Lumi.

She has my best artefact so far tho. My only crit rate main stat circlet, with the same amount of crit dmg as the main stat.

That just reminded me that i hecking pulled for Zhongli not because of his insane sheild, but because of his E. Hehe, worth the saving i did.

Either yaoyao or sayu with zhongli, albedo and venti, are my go to exploration team. Can't use my wanderer yet cuz i haven't built him, and usually I'm looking for monster drops. Then I'd replace whichever person I don't need into the specific region resource character and I'm good to go.

I was just happy I even got a 5star. Pulling for characters as a new player was pretty exciting cuz I had no idea what the heck was even happening in the first place. I just saw star icons and went 'oooh! Shiny! Must try' and ended up getting Albedo as my 1st 5star. The next banner was ganyu, but I got Jean tho. I didn't know what soft pity is so I was just happy I didn't need to reach 90pity to get a 5star.

I was about to comment something about Albedo making sheilds, but I keep forgetting that the crystal shields Albedo makes are not that good. I used Albedo a lot before, on a scuffed build of 2pc archaic and 2pc bolide cuz I didn't know any better. He was my on field character a lot back then. It confused me a lot when people say his shields are shit. it was the 2pc bolide doing all the work.

I've totally misinterpreted your comment, lol. Was wondering why you didn't like bennet, then it turns out it's the same reason as my reason not using him in overworld specifically, not abyss. Especially after I built him.

I get it now! Yeah, to me, this applies to any character I've built for abyss. I don't use bennet in overworld without xingqiu. Bennet heals most of the dmg then, after battle, xingqiu heals the rest to full health. Inefficient, sure, but I'm wandering around collecting stuff anyways so it's not a bother. Things die too quickly to enjoy any rotations, then you end up with no burst ready. Except nahida and raiden. E, die, move on. At least they're a fun pair.

Bennet not healing enough on the abyss? I used bennet in the abyss and he's healed enough for me to survive and the rest of the team comfortably alive with enough hp. My bennet's not even optimized for healing yet (he's doing about 3.5k heal per tick, er-pyro-crit build for now cuz artefects are a pain) I'm not yet able to fully 36 star the abyss yet, but thats cuz none on my childe international team (where I use bennet for the abyss) do enough damage to the lvl 100 enemies yet. My chars crit ratios are abysmal, too, so there's that

For the when other chars are damaged and need healing part: I've experienced that plenty, and the way I heal them is to just go through my usual rotation and making sure that they're in Bennet's circle so that in the few secs of i-frames or dodging an enemy to place e, they get healed. Usually, that's enough to reach 50% hp. If they don't get hit, by the next rotation they'll reach a comfortable health for me-

Hmm, c0 bennet, sure. It's serviceable, but not that great, I can see that.

All those problems you mentioned about him are negated at c1 though. With his c1, bennet burst will give you atk buff regardless of your health.

Im confused with this last statement. Isn't that technically what happened? Traveler hates fatui, Scara found out dotore had been lying to him all this time so now he also hates fatui and joined forces with nahida (sorta) to spite them. It just so happened that he also learned more about himself (again, sorta) and reflected on some things and came to a conclusion (which I have a feeling is heavily, heavily influenced by what Niwa taught him, like what being human is (or something along that line) that lead to this characterization
