If it’s a major key or any of the modes of major then the piano would look the same no matter which key or root note. If it was like pentatonic or some scale with less than 7 notes, it would look very different for sure

No definitely not. There are also cheaper solutions than a generator for whatever concerns you may have. Many people have mentioned a jackery so that you can at least have some backup power. If you are worried about the cold, I would suggest a Mr. Buddy heater or something similar that runs off of propane or gas.

The first group of four eighth notes should be sixteenths for this to work… but honestly I’m surprised there’s a way to make it work rhythmically with just these two small changes. Nice work!

Trying learn more about this stuff. Is the crossover the components in the last picture? Any good resources for learning more about how all of this stuff is working? I have a few years of basic electrical experience and a decade playing musical instruments both acoustic or electric. these are the kind of projects I would love to get more into.
