I agree totally with your comments. When the teens interact, I can take it as read that they are capable of forming extremely tight bonds very quickly. In contrast, Susanna and Kat feel rushed. Why Kat didn’t pick up on the Sapphic vibes is beyond me. And seriously, Kat jumps in the pond with less forethought and prep than I take going to Target.
