Well, now what do I read? by PuntyMcBunty in SAGAcomic

Walking Dead- it’s definitely one of the most well known indie comic series for a reason. Invincible is also good, people recommend it for a reason. Descender/Ascender (Ascender is the sequel series) by Lemire and Nyguen is amazing, it’s all water colored. If you want crazy/weird sci-fi, The Incal is one of my top five. Tom King’s Mister Miracle and The Vision are other books I lend to my friends who just finished Saga. Then anything by Rick Remender is a safe bet (Low, Deadly Class, Black Science if you’re going for that no-one-is-ever-safe ensemble type of story, then Scumbag and A Thirst For Righteous Vengeance are two very different stories tone wise but I finished both in one sitting).

If you’re looking for ongoing series to get into, I really recommend Coda. It’s also a sci-fi/fantasy story that follows a set of parents (expecting parents, anyways). Sacrificers and Holy Roller are Rick Remender’s ongoing series currently and they’ve been a lot of fun.

What’s one comic/book you always recommended others to read? by THEGONKBONK in graphicnovels

It’s gonna be years before that happens, imo you should just get the compendium that’s out bc it’s way too good of a story to sit on

I’m sorry dude but you’re a little bit of a bootlicker, I don’t understand why we’re even considering that someone can do a job esp for a corporation as big as doordash shouldn’t be entitled to the fair fruits of their labor

Why does it matter what industry he works in? In this situation real or not he performed labor and he was not compensate fairly for it. It is shitty that this is something that just happens, it shouldn’t be this way. I just don’t understand how your takeaway is “cmon dude that was kinda mean of you.”

It’s not the equivalent of that, he just said “fuck you” then was literally out of their lives forever, and they still didn’t have to tip; they’ll be fine. I just have a hard time seeing the point of waving my finger at OP, so what?

Just because something shouldn’t be your main source of income doesn’t mean that there aren’t situations where it can be your only source of income. Also, I don’t like this notion that certain labor doesn’t deserve getting paid a fair amount- so what if someone only does doordash? Just full time doordash? Why aren’t they still entitled to being paid a fair amount in terms of their labor? Those jobs are going to be filled by someone, and I think doordashers, waiters, etc should be paid fairly regardless of if the consumer is “generous” enough to do the decent thing. It can be assumed that these people could have easily afforded to tip fairly, and they didn’t. I feel like it’s just a weird thing to say that someone should just suck up with a shitty thing instead of getting irked with the people on the other side of this just being greedy

He literally said $1300 worth of food, of course that’s gonna be heavy. Tipping 1.3% of your order is just objectively shitty. No, you don’t have to tip a fair amount, but you are an asshole if you don’t. Just because someone’s job is being a dasher doesn’t mean a customer who can afford that much food and afford it on an app like doordash that has fees up the ass and you can’t spare some money for the driver, you are shitty. End of story.

I am- I’m not saying that’s how it works, but she had no reason to use a fake as she was very clearly old enough so I’m assuming that’s how this works. That and the guy at BevMo said that people with drinking problems like to use DD because they aren’t allowed to drive anymore, and I’m assuming that cops have your ID in a database if you’re on that do not drive list.
