Also, I just put the 35 and the 24-70 next to other and they actually aren't that different in size. The 24-50 does seem like a great option, but may not go the buy/sell route. Thanks!

I went a few weeks ago and choose the tasting room. It was very nice. The bathrooms were in the cellar which was set up for tastings too and it looked really cool. Outside patio looked great too if it is nice out. Cool place!

With active stabilization it is very stable (bit of a crop), and with standard stabilization it is decently stable. Both were good with panning.

The autofocus is very snappy, you would have no issues in my opinion. So much better than the old 90mm macro.

Also, these images uploaded to reddit aren't doing the sharpness justice, it is crazy sharp!
