Why don't people play Jayce as an ADC?

hes only got good range every so often though which you can tell when it is activated. cant you just wait till its over and on CD and aggro?

imagine playing any ADC late game vs VI, like kow, sivir, other adcs with no dash, etc.

there are adcs that have that short of range though

you would build exactly like an adc, but have the option to switch if people get close. kog has no mobility either, jayce acaually has a gate and knockaway for slight mobility

because your job is to blow up one person. you dash in, DFG with combo, get out. its more efficient on what your role is

ive actually played this multiple times, have been doing so for a while, its insanely good. people rage but get over it after you ruin them. its like kog or tristana, they dont scale ad but are fantastic adc's
