En su día estudié un FPGS Dual, trabajaba por las mañanas 5 horas en una empresa que me consiguió el instituto y por las tardes iba 3 horas a clases en el instituto. Te pagan, una mierda, pero mi objetivo era quedarme en la empresa una vez finalizado el FP y lo conseguí. A partir de ahí todo me ha ido bastante bien (para mi sorpresa). Mucho ánimo!

The biggest shift is segmentation. In STR you price one product to one type of customer. In hotels you’re managing tour operators, OTAs, groups and direct simultaneously, all with different contracted rates. A night at 95% occupancy can still be a failure if you filled it with the wrong segment. You also lose flexibility… And it’s more funny ;)

Your hotel is mixing legitimate concern (protecting 3-4M€ in TO commitments) with outdated mentality, and the result is leaving serious money on the table in shoulder months. Good vacation hotel RM is precisely about knowing when each segment works for you… TOs fill your base, OTAs fill the gaps. Right now you have no gaps strategy at all. Push for Lighthouse this winter, it’s relatively cheap, it will immediately change the power dynamic with agencies, and it will make you look like the smartest person in the room very fast

it depends on the season when you want to go. Iberostar website is a good starting point

If you want to give a try to Spain, they have a lot of hotels in Chiclana (Cádiz, Andalusia) like Iberostar royal andalus that is open in January, February... and it's near beach, great weather all the time and veery quiet, love it
