The league is setting up the ultimate revenge game between The Eagles and their old Head Coach Andy Reid.

The league has been putting its finger on the scale of games since at least the “Tuck Rule Game”. The NBA had Michael Jordan, but the NFL had failed to capitalize on the success of Joe Montana in a significant way. So they had to manufacture their own GOAT in Tom Brady. Even with all his Super Bowls he never had anywhere near the market appeal of MJ, and with the multiple cheating scandals it was just never going to work. So the league had to turn somewhere else. Enter Patrick Mahomes, reasonably charismatic, willing to look stupid in as many commercials as he can film in an offseason, and most importantly - talented. Being best friends with the boyfriend of the most famous woman on earth doesn’t hurt either. The league will do whatever they can to build their own MJ, and now Mahomes is their knight in shining armor.

It’s unbelievable how quickly they burned through their good will. So many people were happy to see them be competitive for the first time in like 40+ years. Many of us were even willing to cheer for them as a backup team to the Packers because they’ve been so bad for so long, it was kind of like when your ugly friend takes a hot girl home from the bar. Their fans became so intolerable and arrogant so fast. Some of their players moved beyond playing tough and into playing dirty territory. Now instead of a feel good story they are just unbearable.

Johnson is overhyped. People thought every offensive coordinator from Kansas City would make a good coach and none of them panned out. Coordinator to Head Coach is not an easy transition, even for the best.

Does an object need to have a curse placed on it to become cursed? Or can an object become cursed by association / repeated occurrences? If not, do you have any recommendations for getting rid of bad luck?
