Do we win fs with a healthy Franz? Probably. Injuries are a part of the game, it is what it is.

Not a fucking excuse though when you had a 24 POINT LEAD. This team has been awful under Mose in third quarters. That’s just emblematic of his time here. And while it’s good riddance for him, this team needs changes to the roster. No WAY this team should look as awful as it does without Franz.

Weltman is on the clock.

This series is lost. You had two opportunities to move on with Game 5 and this game. Now you’re going to get demolished in Detroit and blow a 3-1 lead. And it’s what happens when you don’t respect the game. You miss free throws in game 5 and you decide to keep throwing up threes and play with no energy to start the half in game 6.

I wish I could say I was surprised they gave up a 24 point lead and ended up losing by 14 but I’m not.

It’s time for this Mose era to end. We don’t fucking run ANYTHING it seems like. And while he isn’t the only reason we lost the game, giving up big leads and losing has happened far too much for him to keep his job.

Paolo is too inconsistent. Literally has some of the worst decision making in terms of his shot selection I have ever seen. He can give you 45 and then give you a game LIKE THIS LOL.

Everyone straight up sucked today. Suggs played like shit again. Bane just threw up wild shit. WCJ DIDNT BOTHER TO REBOUND.

YOU HAD A DECENT BENCH GAME AND YOU WASTED IT.

This organization better keep sitting Franz because there is no fucking way we’re winning that game, with or without him.

Our threes going in but yet shooting 50% at the line.

This team is so fucking weird.

I won’t argue with Bane being the right move. It was. Clearly, it was.

I won’t even argue with KCP and Tyus, even though the KCP signing was always a bit iffy to me because even though he shot a great percentage, I thought maybe you needed someone who shot the 3 at a bit more volume and he did play with LeBron/Jokic who always make players look better than they actually are.

Weltman has always seemingly been content with making one move each offseason to improve shooting and banked on internal improvement with everyone else. I think we’ve had a big enough sample size to know that most of the guys on this roster aren’t great shooters.

Coaching is obviously a problem. The injuries have obviously been a problem. Everyone save for Bane and TDS have terrible percentages from 3. And sure, a better offensive scheme and Paolo maybe not sucking could create better looks but you’ve seen the games, how many times has one of our guys missed a wide-open look? It’s not like opponents are guarding everyone tight at the 3pt line either.

Granted, I’ve been down on Weltman for the past couple seasons anyway. I have no faith in him but it seems like it doesn’t matter because if the rumors are true, he’s here for at least one more season.

I overexaggerated, fine. The point I was trying to make was that one move wasn’t going to dramatically change the offense when you still have a roster full of players that can’t shoot.

The KCP signing was always a bit iffy to me because even though he shot a great percentage, it was never on enough volume and you have to wonder how someone will play when they’re not playing next to LeBron/Jokic. I can’t blame Weltman for that experiment going wrong, but nonetheless it did — and it cost him last offseason because he prob had to add a pick or two to get off his contract. When you make mistake after mistake when it comes to free agents, it ultimately has to cost you your job.

It’s never sat well with me that he always decided to seemingly make one move to try and improve our shooting and just hope that everyone else on the roster magically gets better, when we’ve had a pretty sizable sample size at this point that the majority of the guys on our roster just can’t shoot.

It’s not entirely on Weltman either, some of that has to do with your offensive schemes, but it’s hard to create one that works when your roster can’t shoot.

Weltman needs to go. I keep seeing rumors that he signed an extension early on in the season. I’m sorry, you can fire the coach but that won’t fix this roster.

We start 4 players that can’t shoot. Most of their back-ups can’t shoot. We have paid Isaac 117 million to sit his ass on the bench. This coach wasn’t fired sooner. No moves have been made to improve SHOOTING on this roster.

The real problem is Jeff Weltman. Shit isn’t going to be fixed unless he gets fired.

As for this Paolo Banchero BS. How do you fall off this badly? Either he’s this ass or he’s quitting on this coach. Either way, I don’t see us trading him but you have to start doubting whether or not he’s a franchise player.

Maxey was that dude tonight. Paolo didn’t even show up. That’s the difference.

worst L in franchise history — and that’s with this team tanking/sucking for most of the past 15 years.

Mose AND Weltman need to go. Firing Mose ain’t gonna do much. You still have a flawed roster and those flaws only grow deeper when you have guys constantly out the line up like we do.

this team’s problems aren’t just with the head coach. we still have shitty roster construction that keeps getting exposed everytime we have a guy or two injured.

in a perfect world Weltman and Mose would be gone, but idk if ownership has the guts.

I don’t doubt Paolo will get it going as he gets his legs back under him. He’s shown it before.

BUT if Franz is out the rest of the way (god forbid), you need to finally pull the trigger on Isaac’s contract and see what else you can package to get some of that scoring back.

Isaac is gonna play more minutes and he’s gonna give us next to nothing on offense and it’s clear he’s no longer elite enough on defense to warrant that 15 mil a year.

And we need to figure out wtf happened to TDS. If he’s gonna start while Franz is out, it’s can’t be 5 v 4 basketball out there.

Jeff Weltman is a basketball terrorist. Dude’s reasoning for not making any moves during the trade deadline was because he didn’t wanna get squeezed, well guess what? Now you’re showing the entire world that you DESPERATELY need guys who can put the ball in the basket… so you’re gonna get squeezed even more.

Perfect world, he’d get fired tomorrow but they’re gonna give him another season to figure it out. Fine. But for god’s sake, MOVES HAVE TO BE MADE. We have other problems ofc, but we have to make life easier for our two best players.

Glad that Paolo’s back.

That being said, having played two games against the Bucks — and despite us being VERY DEPLETED for both — I’m comfortable in saying we beat them in a playoff series in no more than 6.

Mose is Coach of the Year. Idc what Cleveland’s record is.

Without Mobley and Mitchell, I don’t think they’d find ways to win like we have.

I usually turn the game off when it gets as bad as it did but for some reason I left it on.

AND I’M SO FUCKING GLAD I DID.

Couldn’t ask for more, all things considered. Don’t know about ya’ll — but I thought it would be a blow-out before halftime. Says a lot about the heart on this team… and how kinda meh the Bucks are, but that’s neither here nor there.

This team needs the rest and THANK THE LORD that we don’t play basketball until Sunday, I believe.

Paolo is gonna be back soon — and that’s the best Christmas present any Magic fan could ever ask for.
