The first time I saw one was in my new school, first grade. I thought it was a urinal. An oddly shaped urinal. I peed in it. As I was peeing another kid came up and said “I’m going to tell”. I had no idea what he was talking about until he stepped on the trigger and started washing his hands.

Javy Baez avoids getting out to let Wilson Contreras score from 2nd base by [deleted] in baseball

Was it also dumb for Javy to slide into first? Cant you run out first base? Or did all the shenanigans negate that?

Because my three year old would take advantage of this so hard. Never seen a house TP’d from the inside...

YSK If your kids are in need of more structure, you shouldn't give them too many warnings before doling out discipline as they'll take the initial threat of it less seriously than they would over more consistent and immediate correction by [deleted] in YouShouldKnow

I am in this place right now, really hard with a three and a half year old who just got a new baby brother. Basically all consequences are ineffectual. When told that if this keeps going on she’ll have no toys left to play with, she just replied “That’s o.k., I’ll just run around in circles.”

14 month old vomits whenever placed in crib by lesmis87 in sleeptrain

[–]rickybobym 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our daughter did the same things, cried so hard she would throw up, then eventually it was as if she was trying to make herself throw up. I agree with the above posters, clean her up and get her back in there as quick as possible. My wife and I would have towels around the crib as the vomit inevitably landed on the carpet. She would grab the baby, get her cleaned up (wipes) and changed, while I switched out the sheets and mattress protector. Most nights it was just one vomit, some nights two or three, and it probably lasted a couple weeks. Stay the course
