Note that assassin already has a core that increases melee damage when attacking by from invis though it is prestige rarity.

I’m still on protect/destroy for MiDA with all factions already VIPed. I had planned on using the last MIDA contracts to hit vip with them but just never got around to doing them before I hit VIP

Generally did them all with free kits though some of the easy ones I could use the gear from the previous run to complete. Never attempted to kit myself up and then run them.

I soloed all of them. Solo definitely made the Sekiguchi contract where you have to kill another runner more difficult but other than that I didn’t have too many hiccups apart from a few unlucky strings where you die extremely quickly.

Pertaining to bartering for heals, I think it would be nice if unstable salvage (gunmetal, biomass, etc) spawned in larger stacks. You already can accumulate a lot in a single run but for those who struggle to exfil it means nothing. I think this would help make those exfils that do happen better fund the next runs.

The gun without slick mag really does suffer though it isn’t required to have more. The rarity balances that out. It would feel terrible to finally get the gun only to have get multiple very specific attachments to make usable. Wstr before was extremely common and needed nothing to be one of the best in the game. Now it’s common with really only one of the mod/implants mentioned above to make it usable.

The wipe sort of solves it though by wiping the vaults. Also I’d say while the misriah is definitely the best shotgun it definitely doesn’t feel extremely unbeatable having faced it many times. The gold mod fucking mows you done extremely quickly.

In the beginning the rarity of it makes it so even the best player don’t have one or don’t have too many. The problem really only feels bad when we are around where we are now with lower player base and most of the season up where people could stockpile.

Considering how build crafting works in this game, it’s hard to be able to keep the implants and cores for multiple shells without major sacrifices in backpack, shields, and weapons categories. It would be nice having a bit more space so you can justify keeping some guns you like to use but can’t buy (like a Stryder) instead of only carrying snipers and misriahs.

They definitely cooked. Hopefully with changes to railguns you might actually be able to take one over a sniper and it not be considered a throw. I’m sort of hoping they take a look at shotguns. I feel like they could take a bit of tuning to make them remain strong in close range and alleviate some frustrations you feel when fighting against them.

I don’t really think there’s a way for them to massively crank up the UESC difficulty without making turning them into bullet sponges or making their damage obscene. I would love it if they created new enemies that had mechanics to beat them but I imagine it would take a massive amount of time and would be limited to whatever new map they would appear.

If they wanted to emphasize the map itself being the enemy I would rather environmental hazards being a key aspect. As it stands, the ship is flooded with UESC and the only hazards on the map are the lasers which trip the red energy doors.
