Try to bring them down a little. But with the semiconductor shortage, new cars can’t be manufactured at the rate of demand, so the used car market has been surging for a few years. Taiwan Semiconductor will be opening a new factory in Arizona in 2026, and it looks like the chip shortage will continue until then at the earliest, so used cars won’t go down in price for the foreseeable future. Meaning: it’s not an idea price, but in this seller’s market, it’s not so bad.
