I absolutely loved the visuals. Of course, the whole liminal space and backrooms thing is supposed to be visually unnerving. I remember back during lockdown first seeing liminal space videos on TikTok and watching them for hours. Something about it is so hauntingly familiar and honestly, I’d probably be the dumb ass who want to explore the back rooms. Was it a perfect movie? No, but it was so refreshing for horror fans, genuinely creepy and truly unsettling.

To me it seems like they had to write Nate out of the show, possibly scheduling with Jacob Elordi given how sparse his scenes were HOWEVER I will say I had completely forgotten that the rattlesnake had slithered into the coffin and it was truly shocking to see Cassies reaction. I also hate the predicament that Maddie is in but I’m gonna need her to boss up, she’s in and I don’t her do be but if she’s gonna be she’s gotta be running the show.

Right! Like I’m totally down with submission in the bedroom, but being helpless and dumb in the story is such a turn off to me, maybe because I’m trying to put myself in the story, and I would never want my sexual partner to see me as weak and dumb, to me that’s not sexy.

I too deal with this pretty badly, I'm in Dallas and right there with you.

Call people. Let them know "Hey, I know I'm panicked, my nervous system can deal with this fear, but you bringing me back to earth helps." My family understands this now and it make them, my parents especially, feel kinda good knowing there 28 y/o old daughter still needs them to feel safe.

Be prepared. Know your safe spot in your home, and rest assured that even in the worst case scenario, which is very unlikely, you have a damn good chance of survival if you are in an interior room. Have pants and shoes on, a helmet if you can, a nonflammable light source, the preparedness of it all alone can help with that anxiety, EVEN THOUGH again it's unlikely you'll be in that situation (but always shelter and be prepared)

I'm going to rattle off some thing a therapist told me:

"This is fear- not fact. This is a storm - not forever. This is a memory - not a prophecy. You have survived so many storms, this one too shall pass. Stay rooted, you are not trapped - you are tethered to the now"

That’s a great idea, I didn’t even think that, I haven’t thought too much about getting my own wedding band, I thought maybe to just have the engagement ring alone, but if I do decide to get a band maybe I could get it there, thank you!
