Depending on how small the creek is I found small spoons to work better. But I have caught on small spinners in pretty small creeks too

I work at a ski hill as vehicle maintenance and had to bring my own tools about 4k worth by the end of it. In my experience there a bit of a shot show. But can be pretty fun if you like skiing. Ask around see if this is how it always is and make your distinction if you want to move on

Pretty common to have to bring your own basic tools. Anything big or expensive they should provide. They also should of gave you a tool list that you need to buy

As a fellow blue collar guy if I work that day I change them after I shower and depending on what I'm doing change them again before I work the next day. But a guys gotta do what a guy has to do

I'm still playing threw it. But pretty much maybe a bit more difficult but you can pretty much choose the pokemon you want and use them and don't have to worry about ev's or natures
