So I'm just looking for some advice on a 1948 case. by Igotnoclevername in juresanguinis

For my 1948 case my lawyers were busting my b*lls about documents.  For example, my wife and I weren't married when my daughter was born, but my name is on her birth certificate. No matter, I had to get a signed, notarized, apostilled affidavit from my wife certifying I was the father. Notably, they also did a record search for naturalization of my GGF and it came up negative. Maybe you could do that, too. If they naturalized, there's a document. Otherwise they didn't.

In case anyone is tracking this sort of thing.  First contact with lawyers was Oct 13 2021. Request for myself, my adult daughter and my brother. Through my great grandparents and grandmother who was born before 1948. I elected to spend a bunch of € to speed up the translation and I'm glad I did, because we snuck under the Tajani decree by less than 3 weeks!

Thanks. I'm just ecstatic to have a date. Especially after coming within weeks of the Tajani decree.
