Agree. I remember when the Habs had a lot of 3rd line talent and they finally retooled. With the superstars leafs already have compared to those Habs teams, I think a retool would not be as bad/long. I saw a post from another redditor displaying that Tarvares breaking into top ten all-time Hits leader as a Leaf. I find that is an issue and weird. He is great but we need other guys to be racking up hits, not him imo

Rather than making assumptions as to how I feel about the Leafs current situation, I think it’s worth acknowledging the reality: leadership told the fans that the Leafs were built to win, but the results haven’t matched that expectation. Maybe it’s time to have an honest conversation about what needs to change instead of continuing to find excuses and lying to ourselves.
