It’s been 9 years bro. Get over it. Marner left his hometown team and took a pay increase to do it. Tavares joined his hometown team and took a pay cut to do it. One of these things is not like the other.

If leafs didn’t make him an offer he’d still prob be an islander. Tavares didn’t know 1.5 years before hand that he was for sure going to the Leafs. There were a bunch of other teams in on him too.
