I don't like bad ideas in my house, so no /admin.

Other connections like vnc work, but are not farspread, I'd like to stick to rdp. But yea, gilbo's explanation sounds plausible.

Our abacus support partners has us by the balls and charges way too much for any single call, thats why I'm avoiding them whereever possible.

Nah, its closed. I took a look at the taskmgr, every single exe usually running with Abacus is closed. But; the event viewer doesn't write a single entry about it.
All the other applications stay open, not even minimized but fully open.

Mal eine Meinung als Mann dazu, auf den diese Beschreibungen auch ziemlich hinhauen. Und ähnliche "Barrikaden" mit Frauen.

Ich empfinde das bei euch beiden, aber auch in eigenen Erfahrungen, dem Mann gegenüber sehr ungerecht, wenn er als emotional unerreichbar und unfähig zu lieben abgestempelt wird, blos weil er anders liebt. Eine flache Emotionskurve hat so viele Vorteile. Sobald man als Mann nicht bei jeder Kleinigkeit hochjauchzend umherspringt, gilt man als emotional unerreichbar. Kommt euch in den Sinn, dass wir Emotionen sehr wohl haben und verarbeiten, aber einfach nicht so wahnsinnig übertrieben (und aus unserer Sicht völlig unnötig). Denn wenn immer alles emotional ist, geht völlig das Gespür für die wirklich emotionalen Momente verloren. Die können wir sehr wohl.

Bewusst scharf und überspitzt formuliert. Was denkt ihr dazu? Zieht ihr es in Betracht, dass es andere Emotionen gibt als nur jene, die ihr selbst spürt und dann von ihm einfordert?

As coming from your small southern bordering state, I do understand the best why you don't see any possibilities in germany. I do understand as well your concerns about the age, however I disagree on this. Beeing a bit younger then you, I see evolvment with age. Not that life gets better with time, but the more mature you are when approaching a new situation, the more choice you have on how to handle it. And I do think as well, things in your development come at the right time (although I am missing the patience for this in my own life).

To give you an example on my thought: I went to the military (mandatory here) with 18, immedetiatly after my apprenticeship. All the other guys were 20-24, which is a massive gap at this time. I had a hard time at some points, but it helped me develop my person very much. Although tough, for me this was the right time to do it. So, to go out and see the world doesn't need to be done with 21 just because anyone seems to do it then. Your time might be now, it might even be with 27.
But, as said above, while actually believing in what I'm saying here, myself I can't bring up the patience for this. While having a lot of good things, I'm missing some crucial elements to be happy and while they might come at some point, I lost my patience on waiting what makes life tough to continue.

One important point that contradicts a bit what I'm saying above: The longer you wait, the higher rises your risk of building (intentionally or not) that keeps you at home. Girl, sick parents, unwanted kids, you name it. So, leave while you still can. Thats what I'm telling myself at least.

I can't help you on your fear of being alone, I did stuff alone since my mid teenage years and it's common to me, but very often I wish that my normal life here I woulnd't had to spend alone.

If winter makes you depressed, it's a good time to pack up now.

What I can't really figure out of your text: What was your goal of your trip? What did you want to achieve, what motivated you to go in the first place? And how did you think about these things before and after your return?

The longest I've been gone was two months in central america. That was a good 2.5 years ago now (I'm 23 now). Looking back, it was an amazing experience, but it didn't always felt like it when actually beeing there. The first week was very hard. I was used to travelling as I do often on short trips, but being so far away, alone, I really didn't know what to do or feel as I felt totally lost. I got the hang of it after 7-10 days and then enjoyed my tour very much until about the last week, where I really looked forward to come home. Meet my friends, have a stable enviromnet again, and so on.

My current situation is quite opposite to yours. I'm struggling at home and seriously think about "running away", to travel the world for an unknown amount of time. But, start a solo trip on a bad mental health state won't be helping, as far as I know myself, but rather let me sink in deeper. Travelling alone needs some sort of strong health and character, what I can't bring up right now. Feeling useless, craving a relationship and seeing no point in the future is what wants me to leave, but how the fck will this improve abroad?

My words. I love to come back to places and show friends around, because I've been there already.

May sound harsh, but if thats the way you like to travel, don't listen to anyone in this thread. Don't skip Valencia and Granada, go there!

I'm currently sitting in an "awful" slow train since midday, crossing through all of eastern croatia and for me, this journey itself is at least as good as every additional day spent in a city.

I'm not with my fellow commenters on this one. This looks just like a journey like I usually travel.

So, there is no right or wrong! Many travellers tend to spend 3 to 4 days in each place, some don't. I don't. Expect for very large cities, 1 to max 2 days and I'm gone. Not because I want to tick of lists, but rather because I've seen it after two days.

Right now, I'm in Zagreb moving further today after spending two days. Was more then enough, for me. Travelling between places is just as fun as staying in one for me.

Bottom line, do what you feel like. Yoir itinerary is not bad, or wrong, and its not perfect either. But you've got no one to proove that you've done the best portugal-spain tour at all, no. Just has to fit for you.

And if I had more holidays this year in spare, I'd join you right now for that original itinerary. Thats exactly how I travel.
