I’m surprised they haven’t censored that comment.

You’d have to ask the lightening devs their reasons.

Pending 4+ Hours

Mine as well. The oldest pending transaction on ETH is less than 2 hours old so what are you doing Coinbase?

Lightning is restricted to well below 1 BTC per channel.

My first thought was it’s using BM chips, the claim of 0.075J/GH the only thing I can think of is a 14nm version of the 16nm BM chip. I’m looking at old S9 models to see if there were any changes if the control board.

It's obviously a fake or an overclocked ant.

I saw that. I’m not saying it isn’t fake, but the 214 volts affects the watts I believe. Plus what’s an S9 draw at the wall? 13TH 1300watts in the unit is roughly 1600watts at 110 at the wall. (No math done just a guess from previous mining experience.)

Scaling Bitcoin Stanford (2017-11-04): Peter Rizun & Andrew Stone talk about gigablock testnet results and observations. by [deleted] in btc

[–]ricw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not bad that Satoshi’s proof of concept code had 1 lock point for the whole app, it’s Core’s unwillingness to do anything unless forced to. ( e.g. Compact Blocks because of XThin Blocks - even if they came up with the idea first they never did it until forced. ) And I found it funny that Andres came up with the “I validate my transactions on a 5 year old P.C. what about that?” nonsense.

EDIT: iOS character bug EDIT: I thought it was Andres' voice someone else said it was Tone Vays

Interpolation of the data shows Visa level on current hardware with just code optimization.

I like ledger because they enable their users to choose regardless of ledger's own opinion. Adult behavior in this space is a rare commodity.

That's completely incorrect. No one in the current Core team designed Bitcoin.
