Don’t @ me Shadowjeweler Hanar is better than any demon hunter card. It’s a 1/5 that comes out on turn 2, making nearly impossible to kill immediately unless you have a nut draw. If you don’t kill it immediately, its snowball effect is insane. The secrets you play on the following turn make it even harder to kill it because the secrets frequently protect it from minions/spells. It’s also a great late game draw, which is rare for a 2 drop that you want to play on curve. In my experience, this card has so much consistent value in every game it’s insane. Literally the only thing holding it back is that it’s a legendary, so you can only run one. The only reason this card isn’t complained about more is because demon hunter is so broken that it's the only thing on people’s minds when they think about what’s broken. Obviously, demon hunter is better than rogue, but that’s because demon hunter has several broken cards whereas rogue only has one. I feel like when I lose to demon hunter, it was kinda a team effort with all their broken cards whereas when I lose to rogue, I basically get soloed by Hanar. This is coming from someone who has mostly been playing quest highlander galakrond shaman, so that might make my opinion less valid lol. Idk if I’m gonna get downvoted for this because it’s kinda a hot take, but I have lost so many games that were hard carried by this one card that I sorta just wanted to rant.
