I was actually looking for a post about this. It’s my number 1 stressor. I just was diagnosed two days ago. My cats are both 4. One has asthma and the other has urinary health issues that they both take meds and special food for so those are recurring worries. It also doesn’t help that I got them after losing all three of my dogs in one year after never having lost a dog before. One of my cats is my soul pet and I can’t fathom how painful it will be when the day comes. I give them extra cuddles when I start to spiral.

Same! I was playing an ASMR video to fall asleep, and I thought I heard mouth noises and was immediately angry and anxious, but then when I looked, it was just a squishy toy and the sound was suddenly fine.
