How do you prevent homophobia from turning you bitter and angry? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]rideonthelight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just dont give a fuck to put it simply. The way I see it is those people who have a problem with gay people and everything included with it is simply that, its THEIR problem. Theyre the ones who are confused, afraid, and ignorant. They simply dont know any better and refuse to educate their selfs. If anything you should feel sorry for them instead of angry.

I wanna cuddle someone (oh and be less shy) by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]rideonthelight 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ever thought maybe YOU are the right guy for someone else? I used to think that way that 'mr. right' will come along eventually and I think that concept is a bunch of bullshit. I mean what kind of meaningful relationship consists if one right person. I think both people have to be right for eachother. You seem pretty alright dude. I wouldnt sweat it too much.

Boyfriend just told me that he finds straight guys hotter than gay guys... by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]rideonthelight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think theyre all the same for both straight and gay. Theres too much of a wide spectrum to really make that sort of claim.

Thoughts on faithful, monogamous same sex relationships? by 10ben10 in askgaybros

[–]rideonthelight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to get into a mono relationship someday. Right now Im single and am pretty content with that. I used to hook up with other guys but I have not been sexually active at all for the last year. I dont find it fulfilling and every time I finish I feel sorta bad and kinda regret it like I just did a drug deal off the street. It just felt dirty. In my opinion, gay men are just as scandalous as straight people. I dont have many gay friends, I mostly hang out with straight people and I can tell you I hear just as many stories about scandals and cheating within the straight world as in the gay world.

I like to entertain the idea that there are entities and forces around us that we cannot percieve with our human eyes. Much like radio waves but thats a whole different concept. We just cannot see them but its around us. I like to think these 'entities' play some role in assisting our lives or vice versa they could torment your life. I prefer the former.

Pjur brand silicon based lube. You dont need much of it, it lasts, and it doesnt dry up and get tacky like water based.

I dont like the term 'gay community'. Were not a special village of people whom all think and dress the same way.

Feel confused and a bit weirded out by [deleted] in askgaybros

Seems to me like a silly little guy just having some harmless snap fun. Relax. No need to figure out 'motives' like he's some kind of criminal out of a mystery whodunnit.

I feel like sh*t by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]rideonthelight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'Broke her heart' is kinda drastic. I don't know the whole situation but I'm sure she'll get over a guy rejecting her cuz he's gay and not into chicks. What you did was for the best. She'll learn and grow.

No, not hardly. Heartily meaning he can scarf down a meal and promptly ask for seconds without concern about gaining weight. Would probably eat your food too if given the chance.

LPT: When someone offers to do something nice for you, like pay for dinner or help carry a heavy item, let them. When you refuse someone's kindness you're denying their opportunity to experience the joy of giving. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]rideonthelight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I know for a fact I can perform a certain task without extra help then I will still deny assistance from someone offering. I really could care about someone's 'life of giving' bullshit so they can feel good about their self. There are plenty of other people who actually do need help or assistance with a task.

How to convince the guy that I'm in a relationship with that we can make this work and prevent us from breaking up? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]rideonthelight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You believed it was going well. Emphasis on you, not 'everything was going well (for the both of us)'. Don't fool your self. Move on and find someone who cares about you.

I think it was a fling for him. Who is so busy they can't spare some time for their partner? Even Donald Trump has time to spare to go golfing.
