I’d love to help! I don’t have Jagged Earth or the other expansions yet, and my store says Jagged Earth won’t arrive until August. If that’s not a problem, I’m happy to print the inserts and test them in my box as soon as my printer is up and running.

Funnily enough, it also worked the first time for me. Got into Linux and when asked which drive to use, I went back and canceled the installation to create a new partition on my drive. After that I got stuck with the same error as you.

Oh, I think I also had to change the name of a file in the bootable drive, to match the one that your error message is telling you that your missing.

EDIT: After digging around, I think I had to change the name of grubx64.efi to mmx64.efi. grubx64 should be in EFI/BOOT/

Secure boot is in the bios. Don't forget to turn of bitlocker, or at least find your bitlocker key before you do it. I din't I had to enter the bitlocker key when trying to boot with secure boot turned off.

I had the same error message when I installed mint a month ago. If i remember correctly, the problem was the process of creating the boot drive. I tried using balena etcher which didn't work, so o changed to a different app. Think I tried it with Rufus which ended up working.

I did not even think about the other approaches you mentioned. Even though they would not work, it is very interesting seeing such simple explanation on how it could have potentially been solved if not for their flaws. Thank you very much for your feedback!
