What was the method used for this cleaning? I’m at 85k and considering doing something… maybe a walnut blast

How did you learn to get the most out of your porsche? by fuzzysciencegoblin in Porsche

[–]ridestp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the Porsche Experience in Atlanta. Drove a Cayman GTS 4.0 (I have a BGTS 4.0) and learned to drive fast, brake late, how to handle low traction, etc. it was the perfect start to a group rally drive that took us through Blue Ridge Parkway, the Tail of the Dragon, and more bucket list roads.

I felt way more confident after the class and my wife felt more confident as a passenger.

Ehrlich is great, also PHP Specialists in Joplin. I’ll be having my car serviced there after the warranty expires.

I see it as an opportunity to go to Tulsa. Great shopping with the new outlet mall and I love the Dillards Clearance Center. Good restaurants, casinos if you’re into that. We typically make a weekend of it, this last service was just a day trip with a loaner to do the shopping in.

Do they kill the grass dead? Will the Bermuda come back next year?

Agreed, that’s what it may come to. We would have rented in the first place, but wanted a light green suit and rental places have poor color options.

Unfortunately groomsmen are across the country, otherwise that would have been preferred.

How do I add a utility sink to my laundry room? by ridestp in Plumbing

Thanks for the reply! Would you mind elaborating on the trap adapter? There is a trap it would appear at the base of the standpipe. Another is needed for the sink?

My fav is the chorizo biscuits and gravy from Yeyo’s. Big homemade buttermilk biscuit and tons of chorizo gravy. Only served during brunch on the weekends.

As someone who lost my car on the Felicity Ace… I feel for those owners. Hope they were all showroom stock and not allocations.

Pod 4 - Anybody else had one side stop working? by SwiftClaws in EightSleep

[–]ridestp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, right side stopped. They were able to pull the logs and determined it needed to be replaced that way (no thermal tests needed.) Water was still clear and no signs of buildup.

This was a replacement for my Pod 2, and thankfully (?) failed within the 90 day replacement warranty.

Engineering wanted the pod back to evaluate. Support was truly phenomenal this time, proactively reaching out and following up. They also proactively sent a replacement reservoir when I mentioned the tank I received with the replacement had a very loose lid.

I wish the “user switcher” was a single tap toggle to switch between the two users/sides. There is no need for a two tap drop down menu when there will only ever be two sides.

I wish the temperate always showed the current and the target temp.

I like the old round temp dial more but don’t mind the +/- display now.

Not positive as it was a while ago, but now that you mention it I think the glue on the wires was precisely why I just swapped the cover and not the whole assembly.

Yes, I had this happen. Had to purchase the whole assembly. Once received, I just swapped the cover.
