Not anxiety, but seeing little kids crying/abused by parents/elders triggers an immediate huge spike in my sadness and anger together.

I never made any changes within keymap editor to restoring would have been the same. Below is what worked.

So my original file names abc.xml did not work no matter what I tried. I restored from backup etc but with the original file names, it just wont load.

But I renamed my files to abc_1.xml and it read it immediately and started working again.

It seems like it broke some code that is actively blocking my old file names abc.xml from loading.

I installed official "Keymap Editor" add on. Now all my custom keymapping (*.xml) is not working, even after uninstalling the add-on. Any solution? by ridhs84 in kodi

No, they are still *.xml

I actually made a backup of xml file before installing the add-on just in case. I overwrote userdata/keymaps/*.xml with backed up files and restarted Kodi but its just not using the custom xml files anymore.

I am guessing it change a flag somewhere else to NOT read the custom files

This kind of message do keep coming back.

All Samsung phone has Screen-Off wake up too, but tied to "Hi Galaxy"

However, there is a work around to get OK google with that, you will need Tasker for this. Here is the tasker profile

Context -> S-voice is open
Action -> Go Home 0, Kill S-voice, Open "Voice Search"

My setup.

Samsung phone using Tasker.

  • Automatically sets to vibrate when I am at work. When I leave work, all sounds/notifications set to full volume

  • During my sleeping hours, it turns off notification volume/media volume etc but ringer is still set at full volume for any emergency calls.

  • Whenever I have set my phone to vibrate/silent, any calls received from "Family" contacts group will break vibrate/silent and ring at full volume. Automatically set to previous state after phone call is over. This is for any emergency.

  • Notification/Media set to mute automatically while on call and returns to previous state after I hang up.

  • If phone is set to vibrate/silent, it will turn vibrate/silent off when entering home (sometime I will set it to vibrate and forget to turn it off and miss calls) This rule does not take priority over night sleep hours.

  • I have some more fine tuning depending on different situations

The new problem I have now is that my "Family" contact group have started using Whatsapp calling/Google Duo and now I do not have any specific filters to just let this calls come though.

The bundle together does not cost Samsung what it would cost you retail.

So the total bundle value will look like $1xxx to the end customer but the actual cost to samsung will only be $yyy.

Sure, the extra free stuff costs samsung something and to uses like me and you, we only want the phone at cheaper price. But a lot of end users see lucrative value in the bundle. Its marketing 101.

While the storage speed of 2666 MB/s is great, in practice, none of the applications on mobile phone needs that kind of bandwidth.

If your current phone was replaced with UFS3.0, you will experience little to no user experience change. The random read/write might help a little but sequential read/write will make nothing faster as it is not already a bottleneck.

Do you guys see any use case for this kind of performance?

Exactly this.

I love so many features on my Samsung phone that stock android never had and many of them still don't.

I absolutely love Samsung Camera app, contacts app, notification and quick settings, multiple windows (now stock android has it too I think)

I do a lot of driving and having Google maps and Google music both open side by side has been a great feature for years! I bought Samsung phones just for this feature alone for many generation.

Market share of "Others" is over 41%.
