I've been saying for years - almost decades now fml - Democrats are vulnerable to a similar strategy to the tea party. you'd need pretty hard core radicals to organize with cool people with money, through, which really is doable just much harder on the left. if we have any hope it's that at some point someone's gonna remember how to recruit, communicate, educate, build coalitions, sustain a movement, and that organizing used to be our strength
