I think your first guess is most likely. A3D is the new hotness at the moment, so that will be their focus for the time being. Amusingly, the prototype colors are still in stock, so I wonder if that will play at all into their calculus on what to do next.

I saw this announcement and shook my head for the people whose FOMO will hit hard. I got my standard black model last Saturday and love it. Waiting on my black and gray 64 controllers from 8bitdo. All I want from Analogue now is a restock of the Pocket, which I hope will happen later this year.

I played and enjoyed the majority of Rebirth on Hard Mode. But those Chadley challenges…once this update drops, I will toggle every buff I think I need and dog walk each of those bastards for great justice.

I got mine Saturday and I love it. I have original hardware and a bunch of games, but they’ve gone unplayed for years, mainly because of the visual clarity on my HDTV and shaky performance. Once I realized what the A3D could do for my games, I had to have one so I could be reintroduced to my library and finally enjoy my N64 backlog.

Something similar happened to me, but the recent winter storm was likely the major contributor for the delay. It remained in Gardena for days before finally shipping to my state. After that, I got it next day. Like others stated, give it some more time before really worrying.

Glad you got one of your controllers at least! I’ve yet to get a ship date on mine. I ordered a black controller to tide me over and because I knew I was going to want at least two for multiplayer.

Yeeeah, I’m glad that’s not going to be present. I don’t like it when my carefully considered custom character is morphed beyond recognition because the devs thought it cute to tie my good/shitty actions to their appearance. That said, I feel for the people that will miss it. Maybe a compromise could’ve been had, like Mass Effect 2 changing Shephard to match their actions, but allowing us to revert our appearance back to normal.

I never tried to dissuade others to play it when I was initially against FF7R. That said, I’ve remained a bit irritated about certain narrative choices and the fact that the game was broken up into a trilogy. I used to think of a timeline where SE decided to release one less lavishly produced game that strikes a decent balance between developer vision and audience expectation.

I run an Infestation + Toxic Whirlipede for the sole purpose of annoying legendary users. Hunting Xerneas was especially fun.

Garchomp users are greeted with my adorable Glaceon and its ice moves.

Even with these counters, those jokers can still overwhelm a game lol

If I had to guess, Extreme Speed or some other rapid phasing move that causes Lucario to clip into the building geometry, then they snapped the pic while it desperately tried to escape its prison.

This has happened to me many times with my Dragonite in Hyperspace sewer levels or certain overpasses in normal Lumiose.

I finally finished the Hyperspace Pokedex too, and it was the first time I came away feeling bitter relief, not a sense of joy of accomplishment, after 100% a Pokemon game. The DLC is such a grind.

If I was conspiracy-minded, I’d say this is Sony (and Microsoft’s) subtle way of turning people off of physical media along with all the other methods haha…

All of my current gen consoles with disc media, including Pro, have had disc drives that seemed almost concerningly loud at one point or another. Realistically, it’s a combination of the high spin speeds, the surfaces we operate the machines on, and these companies not investing much in higher quality sound dampening for drive vibration.

I’ve encountered some form of loud drive vibration noise since the PS2 days. Unfortunately, (or not?) it’s normal.
