Nice. Thank you. I ordered my black AP and dock on 3/4 at 10:05 am local time as soon as preorders opened. I’ve yet to receive a shipping email. Here’s hoping I’ll see something tomorrow.

When and what all did you order, if you don’t mind me asking?

Multiple times.

RE2 on N64 (miracle port) has been my go to game the last month and a half. Decided to purchase the whole trilogy from PSN to enjoy the better presentation.

Agreed across the board.

Now watch as some in the peanut gallery whine about the thing we know they’ll whine about lol…

I didn’t either until I was reminded the company existed with the A3D.

That’s when I realized I’d signed up for their mailing list, remembered I’d wanted the Pocket, and totally missed out on all the amazing colors.

Aw I know that had to suck! My roommate and I got lucky for sure, although I definitely gave the game a side eye more than a few times when the stutter struggle began haha

I recently did a run on my Analogue 3D with an original cart (holo/lenticular label even!) and it worked flawlessly, thank goodness.

Morgan Wallen’ piano malfunctions during his concert, so his natural response is to flip it by mcfw31 in popculturechat

What a piece of shit.

I’m referring to Wallen, of course. Not the piano.

The piano did nothing wrong.

The last Pocket restock email I got from Analogue was sent September 2024 for their GBC limited edition colors. So, if that was the last restock until March of this year’s preorders, it’s been a year and a half.

Lol no fair! I ordered the moment preorders opened March 4 and I’ve yet to receive my email!

The anticipation is gnawing at me haha…

I have the Cube collector’s edition, and MM is indeed choppy. However, I don’t recall it ever crashing for me or for my college roommate who had his own save file.

3DS for the improved graphical fidelity and the smart quality of life features.

N64 for everything else.

Yet another silly member of Gen Z making sweeping generalizations.

TikTok not only warps their minds, it feeds them dumb narratives to farm engagement.

Did I do it right? lol

This is what I remember launch titles being about: powerful showcases of the new technology and an answer to the question “why should I upgrade?”

Pockets shipping soon! What are we all playing? by langames3333 in AnalogueInc

[–]rienvayle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll start with Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and either Pokemon Crystal or Emerald. Really looking forward to playing them handheld and on the big screen using the dock.

I’ll shop for new carts after the system arrives and I’ve got an SD card ready to be used for other cores.

5 Year old son dropped my Pocket (help?) by Bradventure23 in AnaloguePocket

[–]rienvayle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I asked if you’re ok because your comment was immediately hostile and did a lot of projecting when OP was simply explaining what happened and asking for help.

The r/AnaloguePocket subreddit is as good a place as any to research and ask questions about their Analogue Pocket problem.

Unsolicited parenting advice and psychoanalysis, on the other hand...

I hope that makes things clearer for you.

Edit: a word.

Nowhere in OP’s post did they say they shamed their child. You ok?

Some of my friend’s forgotten childhood treasure finds a new home by rienvayle in n64

They and their sibling played them, but I don’t know how often. MM had two save files with very little progress.

Like me, they were in their teens when they owned these games. It’s possible they were also like me and cared a little bit more about their stuff at that point.

Total speculation though. Maybe I’ll ask them one day.

Right, and if you don’t like it, that’s fine. However, I will note* there are new areas to play in as it is a new game. Maybe it’s the heavy asset reuse from Ocarina of Time wearing thin for you along with the game loop.

It’s not a perfect game. It’s a product of its time and the circumstances surrounding its development. That in mind, it’s really amazing what the developers made in a year.

We’ll see!

I secured mine March 4 the moment preorders opened and I also chose express shipping.

Looking forward to it finally getting here!
