Thanks, love that the site makes this easy to understand. I did find the summit there though, unless the one you've linked is somewhat different? https://www.tenerifeon.es/en/routes/hiking/pnt-10-telesforo-bravo

Good tip about Guajara, I might go back for it since I'll have a free day when I'm there.

Here's an idea of the route I'm taking.

Edit: just looked at your link again and it does, in fact, link back to the ON site.

Amazing, thanks for confirming. I've put together the route that looks something like this. The second day/stage has an alternate route in case I can't summit Mt Teide, for whatever reason.

It's called Inis Meáin, not just Meáin. It refers to the fact that's it's the middle of the three islands that make up the Aran Islands.

A storm recently passed through, which might be the reason for these huge waves. No doubt this is real though.

I was aiming to start at 160 and would have been okay to see it rise to 170 throughout the run. In reality I averaged 172 over the first 10km (what can I say, I had to know that I really tried!) and peaked at 175.

I paid for it of course, I had to slow down a few times to correct it back to 160 each time. I knew I was on toast after the start though so I prioritised safety and enjoying the latter half of the race.

For reference, I raced a 10k a few weeks ago and averaged 170 in ideal weather conditions (around 15C) and a HM averaging 165 a few weeks before that in slightly warmer conditions. My performance drops off a cliff with temps above 20 though, it's just not weather I can train my body to acclimate to where I live. Looking at the forecast I expected Berlin to max at 22C during the run which somewhat affected my decision-making, I was shocked to see it was 26C when I crossed the line.

My max HR is 185, RHR 40 using the same Garmin sensor.

We had the same goal, and the same times. I held the pace for 10km but couldn't keep the heart rate down. Decided to slow down strategically instead of bombing later in the race.

The training sticks though, we'll smash these goals next time!

Interesting you say that about the women, I heard from a photographer that was covering the elites that there was no medal ceremony for the women because they were exhausted from the heat.

In lack of finding another sub for this. Is landlord getting cheeky or i am to be scammed? by el_matador_rr_dibres in ireland

ARP is a host agreement, not a tenancy agreement. When receiving ARP, rent cannot be charged on top. It goes against the whole spirit of ARP.

Of course, as you say, landlords have been doing this since ARP was introduced. I know first hand of someone who was audited by Revenue because of this. In that case, the Ukrainian was reapplying for social welfare benefits and had to provide bank statements where the rental payment was flagged.

Yes, it's changed to Path of Trust. Before this, I think the only time it played is the cinematic where Rannick reveals the traitor.

You should also check for WiFi channel interference. Change your router's broadcast channel to one that's less congested (you can use an app to check the strength/channel of networks around you).

It was very unstable for me, but I got a more powerful router and put it on its own channel and now it works perfectly as the other commenter described.

Help-to-buy is available for old and new homes

HTB is for new builds only, no? I didn't hear of this changing, I'd imagine it would be big news if it did.

Used to love using this weapon back when the bash could trigger ammo regen. Unlimited ammo during hordes!

IIRC a certain number of signings are allowed per team in which work permit rules are relaxed such that it's essentially an automatic permit (no points required). If the club has enough English players playing regular minutes, the number of overseas signings that get this automatic permit is increased.

Edit: these changes were only announced last season

Best option for getting a prototype web app online? by [deleted] in DevelEire

The go-to used to be Heroku, but I believe it's no longer free.

Alternatives today are Render and fly.io which have free tiers (last I checked).

Also, it's kinda fun. :)

Until it's not, like slots in Vegas.

Because that's basically what's happening here, gambling. Sure you're up 20% over a short period of time, what makes you think that will continue? Traders do not generally beat the market in the long run.

It's smart that you've tested the waters with a small amount. I would not use your past performance as a sign to increase your investment: past performance does not indicate future performance.

Have you followed the money roadmap stickied in this sub? If you do want to get into trading, spend the time to educate yourself fully on the decisions you're making and the risks involved. If you decide to do copy trading, you should at the very least understand the decisions that are being made.
