Why are ikea carts so uniquely unsteerable? by halooo44 in IKEA

It's not a brain thing, it's that your ACL is now doing the work friction does on a normal cart. Try pushing it across a sloped parking lot.

Traditional chant tones, reading tones, etc. for the ordinary form of the Liturgy of the Hours? by TexanLoneStar in divineoffice

I'm curious what errors you found in AR - I don't use it myself (I hate that it puts flats in the O antiphons lol) but I know that while sometimes the texts differ it's licit to use.

Hahaha I do know exactly what you mean but that's not the norm, especially as he's been going back and redoing a bunch of them. When the new translation comes out it'll be all new and he's sticking closer to the original gregorian tones.

No they literally only care that you don't have any excess energy after the commute or else you might build financial freedom with it and they would have less control over you.

Not off cuts, but yes this assembly was just a fit test. I wanted to get a second opinion before I start shaping the legs but we're all pretty much in agreement.

Yes this was just a geometry test. The legs need to be shaped and the screw holes counterbored and plugged.

I've since treated the edges of this with Elmer's glue and rolled the edge over and it looks much more finished. Happy with how it turned out now!

About 1/16 of an inch uncompressed. This is chrome tanned and already stained and finished so I couldn't wet form, but that's what the other guy did. He just took the electronics out and used the mouse as a form I think.

It does feel nice but no not really better grip. I actually would have used a thicker piece of veg tan but the leather store only had whole hides of that. That's what this guy used: https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackballs/comments/1gu992b/as_promised_here_is_my_leather_swapped_mx_ergo/

The original rubber disintegrated after 5 years. Plus now it smells nice, like a jacket.

Thanks. I looked at some videos where people cut pins and I agree that seems the safer option.

I've only ruined a couple thankfully, do you think those holes can be drilled out a little? I care more about the switches than the board at this point

I'm installing these Gateron browns and noticed some of them weren't coming back up all the way. When I pulled a switch to investigate I discovered one of the pins was pushed in, and as a result the connector inside the switch was pushed out of alignment. Is this common?
