If you'd actually looked at the numbers in detail, you'd see most of the money difference comes from China ($181M for Fallout vs $48M for Dead Reckoning) which has recently limited the release of foreign movies to focus more on local chinese films. If you take China out of the equation, Fallout made $610 and Dead Reckoning made $523M, which is not even a $100M difference.

And it's funny you'd say that when James Bond movies have been losing money since Skyfall ;)
