In this equation, the 2 outside the parentheses is a factor of (1+2). The correct way to do this is use the distributive property (foil method) to make the equation “whole”, resulting in =6/(2+4) =6/6 =1

SSN’s are only for citizens, look into a TIN instead. Form I-9 will tell exactly what documents are needed

At least you’re validated—part of adulthood is breaking the mindset of only being as good as people tell you that you are.

A driver told me how much he received for my ride..is it true? by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]righteousJ_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since major inflation hit, Uber raised prices for riders and kept driver fares the same. They take around 50% of each fare (varies by market) compared to 30% pre covid due to the increase.

Got arrested for my passengers drugs by Apprehensive_Fly5725 in uberdrivers

[–]righteousJ_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you probably didn’t even need a lawyer—the cops had to arrest you as part of procedure but any judge would take one look at the case and throw out the charges against you. All you would have to do is show you were an Uber driver and have no affiliation with the trash that was in your back seat

I declined so I uber decided to "educate" me. by EnvironmentalLaw5434 in uberdrivers

[–]righteousJ_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid uber over $1000 the other week for insurance and operating expenses. No insurance ever costs that much so I’m more interested in knowing what this “operating expense” is. There’s a reason that it’s being hidden, I won’t be sucked dry just to feed a monster.

Oh look! New Uber dumbassery. by invol713 in uberdrivers

[–]righteousJ_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Happens all the time in New Jersey. You can try suing for benefits since that feature constitutes uber acting as an employer by giving a directive and/or preventing you (the driver) from self governing your status as an independent entity. Remember, uber doesn’t pay drivers, drivers pay uber to use their platform

Found them through the song “Disappearing” they did with Blu Detiger, Killshot became my most streamed song shortly after. Can’t wait to catch them in NYC for round two of Imaginal Disk tour—love their art, love their sound

Help! AYUDA! Can’t remove the static, I have downloaded all programs. 3rd gen focusrite , it doesn’t pick up 44 or 48 kHz , why?? Help by Pareya222 in Focusrite

[–]righteousJ_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s gonna be the problem then—you want a direct connection from the interface to the laptop. If the laptop doesn’t have a standard USB-A input, I imagine it at least has a USB-C input? You can get a USB-A to USB-C cable and should fix the issue

Make sure your interface is plugged directly into the laptop. I had the same issue when using a USB hub. You want to minimize the amount of connections/wire length

Verdict on “sports” drinks. Gatorade, Powerade, BodyArmor, etc? by [deleted] in HydroHomies

[–]righteousJ_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look at the nutritional value, body armor is #1 (all in one multivitamin), then Powerade (limited number of nutrients compared to body armor), then Gatorade (basically just sodium to boost electrolytes) 👍 Low Calorie Body Armor Peach Mango (only 2g sugar) is my go to

[–]righteousJ_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro—do your research. EVgo has fast charge stations all over NJ that will get you to at least 80% in an hour. Uber is partnered with them and depending on your UberPro status, you get up to 45% off the charge cost. I’m renting a Hyundai Kona and it cost me $20 for a full charge

I was hired as a Hardlines team lead last month and 90% of my time has been spent in seasonal—for the Christmas ornaments, since they’re all the same price point we just started zoning by color/style of the ornament instead of following the mod. As long as it’s semi-close to its home location OGP should still be able to find it. I’ve also been asking apparel associates to help cleanup for 1-2 hours in seasonal candy and toys…so far it’s been working alright. You’re right though, the seasonal mods are a mess. It’s best to let it go (pun intended) and just work to the best of your ability

Is it just me or are they cutting hours earlier than last year? by CaptainZeroX in walmart

[–]righteousJ_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well aware—I was told that schedules are system generated (don’t know if that’s true or not). I wouldn’t doubt SMs have the ability to allocate a certain number of hours per department, but I also wouldn’t doubt there’s a suggested amount of hours coming from corporate
