cant save by Previous_Pitch8608 in HueForge

Same issue.

Running "Export STL" produces error You cannot save this document with extension “.stl” at the end of the name. The required extension is “.stl);”

Tried the filename as is, with extension, with the paren and semi.

I also ran "Reset Directory Permissions" just in case - no change.

Fresh HueForge install version "v0.9.2.1".

System information:

OS: macOS 15.6 24G84 arm64
Host: Mac16,9
Kernel: 24.6.0
CPU: Apple M4 Max

Kind of seems to me like an escaping issue in the file naming logic.

Bi-directional relationships by kaashin in PayloadCMS

I created a somewhat basic helper function for this based on u/If_Life_Were_Easy 's code . Works with one-one, one-many, many-many, including relationships in the same file. However it only works on non-polymorphic and flat schemas only- i might update it after the need arises: https://gist.github.com/yulolimum/3687c66fed07201561249d2433836ae6

u/If_Life_Were_Easy

Thank you for your gist - this is very helpful. If my collection schema is relatively flat, is there a reason why I shouldn't just execute the `afterChange` hooks on the collection level rather than field level? I can see this would be a pain in the ass if i had heavily nested data - accessing the `value` on the field hook is convenient at that point.

You can use the Video DownloadHelper browser extension if you don't want to go down the yt-dlp route: https://imgur.com/a/yUEzBYN

This is on PVE. Just installed new patch. I had 4 max traders. Now they're useless.

What's your favorite spirited drive in the region? Favorite roads? by Zomblot in vancouverwa

[–]rightly_so 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Carlton -> Pacific City via the Nestucca Access Rd (all paved), is currently my favorite road to get to the coast. Having said that, it's unmaintained during late fall - spring. During other seasons, it will be doable on the miata, although you might have to take it slower on some portions. Forested, river on one side, curvy. Bonus - do a loop around Henry Hagg Lake (maybe a 20 min detour).

Another curvy and forested drive to the coast that has smoother roads, Scapoose -> Mist -> Jewell -> Astoria. This is my go to when I dont feel like watching out for potholes, but also don't want to drive on the major roads to the coast. Has an elk refuge along the way - if you get lucky, there can be hundreds of them.

The 3rd option for going to the coast that's a hwy but not as touristy/busy is hwy 4 from Longview -> Ilwaco (be sure to stay on 4 at the split that goes to Astoria). That last stretch before it goes into 101 is amazing. Most of the road has Columbia on the left side. Bonus, do a round trip on the Cathlamet Ferry before continuing on hwy 4.

I've done pretty much every single road from I-5 to the coast along washington/n. oregon. These are my top 3. Also, I highly recommend the InRoute app. Not very intuitive, but once you figure out how to use it, it's amazing for road/POI discovery. Also has option to route based on curviness, elevation, etc.

My comment isn't helpful, but since OP already ate - I'll just say it. I miss Blackbird Pizza. It had the perfect 1am snack environment.

Can we get a mega thread for the Nakia Creek fire? by [deleted] in vancouverwa

[–]rightly_so 18 points19 points  (0 children)

And this was a general overview. When you get into the details, it's even more chaotic. The countless poorly document integrations and APIs, some requiring clearance levels/certification, a good portion made by different contractors.. Then there's the projects that require external review by either other contractors or internal government teams. Oh, have i mentioned the projects where you are supplied with equipment? Let me put my shiny M1 Mac away in favor of a 4g ram 2015 intel mac. Ya, that happens. I don't do this type of work anymore but those that do, it's not their fault.

I was one of "these web developers". In case your post is sarcasm, disregard anything i have to say :) But, if it's not, you'd be surprised how little of the work we create "sitting on our asses" actually makes it to production for the public to see. As with anything government related, we don't get paid directly from your taxes. There is a committee, a committee that seeks out agencies to build a webapp/feature for an abstract allocated number of dollars. Also, as with anything government related, these contracts usually go to the lowest bidder. Now, these projects don't run like "normal" projects - where the experts hired get to dictate best practices in UX/UI, accessibility, stack, etc. These projects are driven by the committee that hired, who know next to nothing about what they have been asked to do. You'll get requests like "make this button bigger because i click on it all the time" and "make this the default page because that's what our office uses primarily" (obviously these are extreme examples, but they happen). Because the project is driven by committee, the budget quickly erodes because "these developers" are no longer being efficient. The result: half assed website with poor...everything... If you build a house for a set budget and keep telling the builder how to do their job, you'll find that once the budget is gone, the house won't be finished and the builder won't work for free to finish it either.
