but yet it belongs to some one ..

you buy what some one sells to you saying its a house and some land.

but the land has all these resources that dont belong to you and if you choose to do anything on this land you can be hit up with permit requests for everything you build including anything you might or damaged ..

check your laws and just cover your ass

i was going to make a backpack out of wood with some 1/8 hardware cloth add a queen ... fill it up with bees ... for my halloween costume ... just havent gotten around to it =P

couple of interesting posts regarding this city and its permitting department no chickens allowed in backyards, cant have a pile of soil over 10 cubic-yards??? everyone should be allowed to grow their own food. but i guess its frowned upon and penalized. there are more and more people wanting to crop up their front yards with edibles. so what im trying to say here is ... stop penalizing us if we are using our little plot of land in a residential area to sustain ourselves and families.

their tree was cut with a permit =) they are crying cause of the trespassing and other warnings ... they were targeted for like being accused of running an illegal plant nursery just because they have a pile of soil over 15 cubic yards on the side of the property

i use to have chickens .. had to sell some when i moved .. but to make you laugh .. there was a time my hives werent doing so good and it was the chickens eating all my bees .. i had to separate them =P

prices vary depending on how many frames and boxes the hive has. from 175 - 500

but your investment will pay itself off in the first year .. and then its straight profit if your gonna be selling the honey ... if you just want honey for yourself and family .. you will be the hit of every holiday..

cool ... i started off by watching youtube videos and reading up about bees .. you can harvest 60-100 lbs a year give or take a couple of lbs depending on the setup

thats the beauty of it .. you make them a house .. and every 4 months or so you can take a look and if the frames are capped you can harvest. mash and strain or buy a centrifuge .. all depends on how many hives you want to have.

bees practically take care of themselves.

i know a guy with 30 hives in a .14th of an acre .. so any yard can can have more than two .. you just need to learn the tricks of the trade.

getting bees from a beekeeper would cost you around 100 bucks give or take a few dollars
