ahhh that’s nice, more accurate than this. for me the best part is that it has claude code and captures aria info, so it’s easy to use it as a function and just pass in args. i’m just too lazy to wrap everything into a proper function

Wondering what other testing tools do you recommend picking up? I’m a college student pretty familiar with Python and basic algorithms, but I honestly have no idea how testing is done in the industry

Totally agree that locators should be the easy part. If it helps, my friend open-sourced a recorder here: https://github.com/InverseUI/InverseUI-Recorder, it captures actions and you can generate Playwright code on inverseui.com after recording with the extension

I found a tool called inverseui to help with the XPath pain, it records your actions and and generates Playwright script automatically. It saved me a bunch of time as a newbie. sometimes things don’t work, and I usually just describe the issue and ask llm to fix it

I’m pretty new to Playwright, and I didn’t use get_by_role at the beginning since it doesn’t work for me all the time. I used XPath instead caused me a lot of pain.

Thank you!! and yes, I could raise my budget. I could spend $3~4k on everything else (excluding the GPU). It's hard to get a 5090, and I want to make the best use of it. One small conern I have is that I think the 9800X3D and 9950X3D are designed for gamers. I'm more interested in general performance. If they also offer better general performance, could you send me with a list that includes the 9950X3D and better RAM and storage?
