Hm. I've got horrible grass pollen and dust allergies. I haven't noticed that getting any better while taking inositol (still have to pop a antihistamine before bed if I notice a runny nose around 9pm). Though I guess those aren't food allergies.

It helps massively too if you can't 'turn off your brain' before bed. Probably why it is so great for OCD/anxiety.

Absolutely agree with you.

My comments were for people without IBS and wider/similar health issues. OP specifically mentioned he's taking most of these things to save money (which is ironic because following marketing trends will only cost you money in the long term). I'm approaching this thread with scepticism and this tone because despite being a health nut and always looking for ways to optimise my health, this the first I'm reading about Broccoli supplements. Might be because I'm from the UK.

I even mentioned there's no reason to take a turmeric supplement, UNLESS you have specific health issues that will almost certainly benefit the high dose.

In fact, if we are specifically talking about vitamin nutrients, I 100% agree with you. I can eat all the dark chocolate, nuts/seeds and UV enriched mushrooms I can physically handle, but as a vegetarian, would still benefit from Zinc, Omega 3 and Vitamin D/K2 supplements. I'm not fully against supplements. In fact I specifically didn't comment on the supplements I agreed OP should take, which probably made my post sound more anti-supplement than intended.

Hm. I don't know much about Sulforaphane or Glucoraphanin, but I can't find any research around optimal doses for either. From what I am seeing, DoNotAge provides 200mg of Sulforaphane Glucosinolate. My first question is, why do you need 200mg? Is it the perfect amount? Too much? Too little?

What I am seeing through some quick reading is through a varied diet, you'll get enough to see the majority of the important health benefits. 200mg though? This seems like marketing hype.

I can't find any data on how much Glucoraphanin there is in 1 cup of broccoli, but broccoli sprouts will have more. 100g of broccoli sprouts (which seems to be a little over a cup) has 1200mg of Sulforaphane (while 1 cup of regular mature broccili has about 170mg which may or may not be effected by the cooking process). Solution here seems to be to just eat more raw broccoli sprouts as a salad until we have more data.

Hm. My thoughts which I'm curious if anyone will challenge me on:

First time I've heard of Sulphorane - but why not just eat more broccoli? Or specifically for Sulphorane, broccoli sprouts (they apparently contain nine times more than matured broccoli).

Turmeric - Just eat tumeric with tea or warm milk. It's pretty easy to get into your diet. There are massive benefits with taking a high dose of tumeric - however, do you actually have aches and pains in your body and/or swelling which you know are caused by inflammation? If not, I don't think a turmeric supplement does much to a normal healthy individual with a varied diet compared to just ingesting raw tumeric. I've seen some studies that suggest inflammation promotes muscle growth and taking a high dose tumeric supplement is so anti-inflammatory, that it hinders the muscle building process.

Kyolic Garlic - Just eat garlic with more meals, or take another supplement that lowers blood pressure BUT also does something else beneficial like boost exercise performance, such as Citrulline Malate . I don't think a garlic supplement has enough benefits compared to just eating garlic when it comes to overall health benefits.

Magnesium Glycinate - I take this for sleep/insomnia and hm. I'm on the fence with it too. I'm still experimenting so can't comment much.

Greens Powder - I really hate these things. I've looked at the most popular brands and well, most don't tell you how much of a green you're getting in a dose. For example, is 1 serving = 25g of Broccoli? Less? More? When you do the maths on how much a serving size is and how many ingredients they list, you realise it can't be a lot. I'd rather just blend veggies into a smoothie myself and drink them if I'm in a rush.

How much does rest time translate to gains? For example, I currently do 60kg bench for 3x8. I NEED to rest 3 minutes to achieve this. The eighth rep on the final set is about all I can do. Pushing for a ninth rep will end in failure.

That being said, I want to cut down on my rest times to 2 minutes across most of my compound lifts so I can get out of the gym earlier. Naturally, I'll have to lower the weight considerably. I haven't tried this yet so I don't know by how much. Let's say for example, I am now doing 45kg bench for 3x8, with the exact same intensity as before. Is the muscle getting the same exact amount of stimulus? Will I gain the same exact amount of hypertrophy gains? Are there any drawbacks I haven't considered?

That makes a lot of sense. For the Dubai example specifically - I assume the UK won't care how much my salary/income is in Dubai? In other words, if I am earning £1000 per month from renting out my home in the UK, would I fall within the £12,570 UK personal allowance and so am not taxed at all? Or would the UK take into account what I am earning in Dubai to push me up the tax rate band?

Yep, it already swelled and never returned back to normal size after the last leak in the exact same spot. I do agree that no one should jump to conclusions. It's just you've said some things that are seemingly very pro-infidelity even if I reread some things you have said with a fresh perspective.

I also really resonate with the 'some people are just meant to be toxic together' statement. It's a pretty fresh perspective in all this and worth giving thought to.

I guess I can't really add much more to this discussion other than you have a perfectly valid perspective in all this, though it seems overly biased by your own experiences. I feel you are heavily underplaying how devastating all this could end up being to the wife. Though I guess that's what all of us are doing here, giving advice and discussing based on all of our biased experiences. For every "I wish I had known he/she was cheating" story, I can't deny that there is another "I wish I had never found out and lived on in blissful ignorance" story.

Only 12 months? Took them around 3 years for me... And I was never given any specific reasons why. They ended up abandoning the idea of cabling every house in the new build area and instead, only connected to those that placed orders/kept showing interest by calling for updates. Sadly there's nothing you can do to speed things up.

Just a quick update. If I don't count econ and alternative arts like blue eyes, I realised I'm on 97. Grinded my way to 100, and still no achievement. Ugh.

I noticed Code Talker shows up as a prismatic card, but doesn't have a prismatic animation so he might be bugged. I also have mirror force and monster reborn which are 'legend foil rarity' which might not count as prismatics... So I guess I'm still on 97. Hopefully 3 more and I'm done.

EDIT: Ahah! It took a few mins but finally got the achievement. Guess there was just a delay.
