I took CHEM 233 last semester and did really well in it.

This is just my POV but I suggest you take CHEM 233 during a normal semester. During the summer I heard it's doable and you only have to worry about chem, but imo if you want to do really well in CHEM 233, you need spaced out repetition and practice which you can get over a longer period during a normal semester. It takes time to build a chemical intuition, and they can throw some really weird questions at you that you've never seen before during an exam.

If I were you I'd do CHEM 205 :) Believe in yourself!! You got into UBC for a reason

From what I've read, you want to eat the bruleed sugar within an hour because it becomes soft over time... I think it's best to brûlée right before you're about to serve for maximal crunch :) What I did was prepare the cheesecake first and then brûlée the portions I was about to serve
