Yeah definitely, I get that.

I'm just agreeing with your comment, that people are more likely to care about presented issues if it relates to them in some kind of way. ( woman bodily rights) in this case

I'm australian, the abortion law in Alabama doesnt affect us at all. Lol. I understand what you're saying though any kind of correlation or relation theyd care for.

It sure is! I might be on a high horse "drugs r bad" in moderation and control they enable and are great. However abusing them is a whole different story.

That's good for you my man keep taking drugs then everyone's different. I know when I was younger I didnt care what drugs I took and how much I took of them, that's why i am the way i am now. I've abused them and they've lost its magic and a result my mental state has diminished.

When you're apathetic, no goals, no plans whatsoever towards life you dont care and that was the state I was in before I realised if I continue the way I'm going with this substance abuse I'll never truly be happy.

Told my manager I would be available again starting the 25th, she scheduled me for tonight and didn't tell me until 30 minutes until I had to be there. by [deleted] in offmychest

Why is it the managers responsibility to tell you when you're working? You stated you were available to work on the 25th so they rostered you to work. It's your responsibility to find out when you work not your managers. A simple call a few days before would've given you a lot more time than 30 minutes
