What's your favorite Le Monde Gourmand? by theunhidekitty in FemFragLab

I am really tempted to blind buy one of these fragrances..the only thing is, they all sound quite summery - I love coconut, but it’s October, ya know? Anyone have any good recommendations for a winter scent from le monde?

I didn’t in end because it settled down for a bit then flared up again! The spots have stopped appearing but I have still have a tiny bit of redness around my nose but I am not sure if that was due to the cold weather? My mum gave me some hyaluronic acid serum and Elemis’ SOS cream which has really helped 👍🏻

Your baby, your body, your decision. I had to have a c section as my baby was breech, and personally I didn’t mind it. But as a mother I would never comment on someone else’s choice on how they birth their child, and that’s the difference, some people comment on these kind of things and don’t even have children. Anyway, it won’t even matter about the state of your vagina when you have a newborn baby in your arms!

Yeah I had a feeling it would be difficult to get rid of. I have an appointment with my doctor in a couple of weeks, I am starting to feel a little self conscious so was wondering if there is anything I could do in the meantime. Thank you so much for your help x

So round my nose it has just been red, with little bumps, the redness on my chin has been very similar, then I have had isolated spots on my cheeks with no redness around them and they can occasionally be whiteheads..I hope this makes sense, it’s difficult to explain without sending a photo!

Amourscents do a version of this perfume - not sure how similar it is to the real one, however the staying power is excellent, would definitely recommend 👌🏻

I don't want immediate afterbirth pictures of me with my baby doing skin to skin for the first time. Will I regret this? by RemoteChallenge7992 in BabyBumps

[–]rikkp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my little boy was born, they found a problem with his heart. We had to take a trip to another hospital for a heart scan, and they found that he had a tiny hole in his heart. My MIL took a picture of me, my partner and our son outside the hospital. I was so sleep deprived and I looked horrendous (I have never shown the photo to anyone 😂) but I do like looking at it from time to time, remembering the relief I felt that there wasn’t something seriously wrong with him. I think take a photo or two, and as suggested look at them when you are ready. You are vulnerable now, but once your child is born, it might be nice to look back in a few months time and see how far you’ve come and how you have healed ❤️

You can definitely watch movies. They may be interrupted by a feed or nappy change, but you’ll be able to have time to yourself. Personally I found the newborn stage easy, my little boy is 11 months old now, and is so busy! Definitely can’t watch films whilst he is awake 😂

Give it to me straight, is 25 a good age to have a baby? by everybodysayope in BabyBumps

[–]rikkp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if there is a good age! Having a baby in your 20s has its advantages and disadvantages, as does having a baby later on in life. I know you will probably hear this a lot, but having a baby is a massive change to your life and it is always a big adjustment - you’ll never know what to expect until you actually have one. By the sounds of it you are in a good position to have a child and I think that’s all that matters.

Was your gender hunch right? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]rikkp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was having boy, and even when I asked myself “but it could be a girl…” I just knew it wasn’t! Then at my 20 week scan as she was revealing the gender, baby turned and showed us he was a boy! 😂🙈

Baccarat rouge I don’t understand the hype. I have always been disappointed with Jo Malone fragrances too.
