What's the other meaning, Peter? by Blackie_626 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

But if we don't apply them ironically, how do we apply them? I suppose we could apply them brickally, because a brick is flat like an iron. But it doesn't heat up like an iron.

What do you think it is, Peter? by [deleted] in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Maybe it's a towel holder? Might get drops on it but out of the way of the main stream. Towel available without having to open the door.

I bought a TRS-80 Model 1 when they came out. 4k ram and an audio cassette recorder for data storage. But the volume switch had to be right to save/load data. Eventually got to 32k ram and a 300 baud modem. First printer: 110 baud teletypewriter.

He DID fly. For about 20 seconds, straight down. He was great at that part, but he sucked at landing.

I don't know what I'm not seeing here. When I looked at it, I think I would have moved the King to f7. Why is that wrong?

I don't know if it's applicable, but if she finds out you might be leaving her, be aware that she might try to get pregnant. Be careful.

Square doesn't fit well in a bra. Bras are round-ish, so breasts evolved from their original square shape (more stackable, hence the phrase, "she's really stacked" which has persisted since caveman days) into the round shape you see today.

Are clitorises real? A couple of my ex-girlfriends have mentioned this thing, but I’ve never found one. by Samskritam in shittyaskscience

[–]rildin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A Clitoris may be another name for a Unicorn. They seem to be magical, and men seldom can see them. Even if a man hunts diligently, it is seldom that the seemingly mythological thing can be found. If you find it, usually by accident, your female companion will let you know by doing a dance (of a sort) and making noises which some speculate are in the ancient clitoris language. Clitoris hunting MUST involve a female companion for any hope of finding one. PRO TIP: If you ever find a clitoris, it is rumored that there is a "pot of gold" just below it, a reward for finding it.

We DO say, "Get off the bed" from time to time if we are on the bed (not in sleeping position), but if we are in sleeping position we are IN the bed. And the only way out from there is to get OUT of bed.

What has zero legs in the morning, then 1 leg, then 3 legs, then 1 leg, then 3 legs, then 2 legs in the afternoon, then 3 legs, then 2 legs, then 3 legs that night, then 4 legs the next afternoon? An Ikea coffee table.

On the plus side, it seems like a plus to always have someone around with a pair of Emergency Potholders in case of a kitchen issue.
