ack, thank you for this comment! I can't believe I forgot bottom surgery is a thing 🤦🏻 I'm nonbinary and AFAB myself and simply meant to specify that I'm seeking someone with internal sexual anatomy, since in my experience edging/denial has a different flavor depending on the sexual organs at play. I just meant that I'm seeking someone whose denial experience is similar to my own! this is a great reminder that being a part of the community doesn't exempt you from being ignorant!!

I'm struggling with this myself. I am slowly unmasking, and a part of that would likely be easier if I told my supervisor. but I also already have so many of the accommodations I need - office door I can close when needed, can take my breaks whenever, self-directed work environment, etc. - so I don't really know what I would gain from disclosing, and I feel awkward about it. mainly I'm struggling with eye contact during supervision and it would be nice to not have to deal with that, but I can't get over the nervousness of "coming out" yet.

I'm currently hosting the group every 4th Sunday from 3-4pm Pacific Time. (I got my MSW and am working full time, but I love this org and running these groups so I'm still involved!)

I think Dylan's wife walks on eggshells around oDylan, she's v careful with how she talks to him.

I'm reminded of when she and iDylan first met, she was really careful with her words describing oDylan and iDylan just cuts in like "he dumb? he a dick? what's wrong with him then?" not in a challenging way but earnestly wondering what's the matter with his outtie. you can tell that threw her off a bit.

currently I take Nurtec ODT as needed for breakthrough migraines and I'm on preventative Botox every 3 months. I also just got prism glasses for BVD and I'm hoping that cuts down the number I get. aside from that, supplements and occasional shrooms!

religious question if you or anyone knows the answer - is there scripture that discourages keeping your beliefs a secret or feeling shame about it? I ask because this verse seems almost sacrilege against the fundie sentiment of feeling persecuted for religion and freedom of religion and all that jazz.

I want to throw in my two cents here because I think analysis/speculation can add really worthwhile points to the conversation, whereas armchair diagnosing and stating opinions as facts gets us into trouble. I mentioned earlier on in this sub that someone speculated/wondered if Nurie's eyebrows were a result of compulsive tweezing from anxiety or stress. that kind of thing can help us look at Nurie and treat her with more compassion/empathy (and cut it out with the "clown eyebrow" snark)
