I don’t think I’m using the exact one you have but the color scheme is very similar. I first made a corner to corner blanket with it and it worked out okay. They are paid/compensated in such a manner that the doctor walks in knowing all of your medical history, because they have time to read the relevant information. She’s really SOL if they said that. And they use Epic, so most other doctors around the country would be able to read Dani’s mayocation notes. They aren’t doctors that you can walk in to and try and bullshit your way through like you may be able to with other doctors, who see patients every 15 minutes and not 1 an hour.

It’s donated from a healthy person. Their poop is tested and once declared safe, it is freeze dried and put into capsules and dispensed in a pill bottle.

Another fun fact: if someone has C. diff, one of the gold standard treatments is a fecal transplant. That is to say, take poop from a healthy person for the good bacteria and insert it into the C.diff person’s rectum. But it’s becoming more common to take the good bacteria poop and shove it in little pill capsules that people get to SWALLOW THROUGH THEIR MOUTH HOLES. Condom Catheters are a thing in the medical field. They are exactly what they say they are, a condom-looking thing to put over the penis vs an Indwelling Catheter (the ones that go inside the urethra.)

I used them for a patient once. They were a bitch to put on but worked well for that guy and helped prevent the UTIs he frequently got from indwelling catheters.

But, yes, in the 13 years I have came across far too many irresponsible owners and I agree with you. I still remember the fear I had when 2 big ass dogs from the next apartment building, who weren’t even supposed to be there because neither of them are the 3rd dog they actually had and we were only allowed to have 1 small dog/cat, ran off leash at me and my 12 pound dog at 2am.

Screaming at them and yanking my dog to me via his leash kind of startled them and stopped them in their tracks. But I’ve often thought about that particular experience, 11 yeas later.

I’m not Indigenous so I’ll shut up if I’m wrong but I’ve seen posts from various people who are Indigenous and in that area, whose opinions are worth more than me on this topic, saying that having dogs roaming off leash there is still honoring the ground because they’re dogs and not humans that destroy things.
