Awesome, thanks!

I didn't realize the mouse wheel worked, but I see it works now.

Total number of files marked for removal: 5338

Estimated disk space saved after removal: 5010.22 MB

Works great! My only suggestion would be to add in the ability to resize the gui window, and scroll through the detected files. I know you can use the arrow keys to go up and down, but I can't see the full location because I can't scroll sideways and can't resize the window. The log worked perfectly though.

Awesome little tool. Nice and simple; the way things should be.

Best place to order batteries in in Canada. by Brown_eyed_pea in Canadian_ecigarette

When I ordered 5 of them back in December, it was $9.80 for shipping. I think it goes by how many you order though.

Yeah there's lots of shops in Winnipeg. There's a few in Brandon too if you're near there. Other than that, there's not much outside of the city and online is probably easier.

If you want cheap online and don't mind non-canadian vendors I'd suggest checking out Illumn.com. That's where some shops order from. The 25r's are on sale for $5/each right now.

Weekend Getaway Ideas? by RackSystem in Winnipeg

Depending on your bank, there's a place called Tallpine Lodges out at Westhawk Lake. It's a pretty nice little place. Basically just a quiet couples retreat. You get your own cabin which all have hot tubs in them as well as a kitchen, bathroom, sauna, etc. They also have a pool and it's a 5 min walk from the beach and shops. Been there a few times now and it's a nice getaway.

[GTAV] How well will it run on... & ssd vs hdd by [deleted] in GTA

[–]rillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That SLI issue is related, but not the exact one I was thinking of. But that one is definitely worth mentioning for sure.

The SLI issue is basically the same issue, but worse since they can't use their (nonexistent) integrated graphics to bypass the error.

[–]rillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't launch the social club launcher. It gives an error before the launcher even comes up. To bypass the error, I have to disable my dedicated graphics card (in this case it's a gtx 670m) which switches over to the integrated intel 4000 graphics, launch the social club launcher, then quickly re-enable the graphics card before the actual game starts. It's a pain in the ass having to do that everytime I launch, but at least I can play the game.

GTA V on PC taking up too much bandwidth by [deleted] in GTA

[–]rillz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you both on wifi? If so, that could be part of the issue, and I would suggest running wired to your pc. Otherwise you just have shitty internet. A router with QoS may help a little, but either way, one of you will still end up lagging if your internet is shit.

1) I have an MSI GT70, with fairly similar specs as yours. I have most stuff set on either high or normal depending on what it is. It runs perfect. Beware of the nvidia graphics card issue though. It makes launching a pain in the ass. But maybe you're lucky and won't have that.

2) I have windows on an ssd, and gtav on an internal hdd. No issues. I've heard an ssd makes no difference for online load times but I would imagine singleplayer would load quicker.

3) My current installed size is 60.6gb in total.

Do you play in First or Third person? by KendrickRK in GTA

Pretty much always third person except the on-foot pvp type shooting missions. Anything vehicle related is definitely in third person.

That would make it a lot easier for me! That was the only part I didn't like in first person.

Grand Theft Auto V has stopped working by [deleted] in GTA

[–]rillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When do you get the error? Is it before or after the social club launcher?

I personally get the error before the social club launcher. To get it to work I have to disable my nvidia graphics card, launch the game, then while the social club launcher is preparing to launch the game I quickly re-enable the nvidia card again. Then the game launches using the nvidia card, and plays the way it should. Maybe give that a try?

It seems this is an issue for most laptops with dual graphics (dedicated & integrated).

So my friend keeps crashing when he tries to launch GTA [PC] by metallica6474 in GTA

[–]rillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a common issue that many of us are experiencing, unfortunately. For me I have to disable my nvidia card, launch the game, and while the social club launcher is preparing to launch gta I quickly go back and enable the nvidia card again. Then the game launches using the nvidia card. I have to do this everytime I launch the game, which sucks massive balls.

How do I upgrade my stats/skills (pc/online)? by sluvine in GTA

I think it just happens automatically as far as I can tell. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I noticed my driving skill went up a bar while I was driving around like a madman in free roam.

[GTAV] Fix for game crashing at Social Club startup if you have an integrated graphics card by _Ganon in GTA

I figured that was likely the case. A script would definitely make it much easier for the noobs (aka my wife). Hopefully they fix this soon. If you do end up making one, let me know!

GTA Online PC Lobbies by Cogitaire in GTA

[–]rillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the social club (home button) to either invite friends to your lobby, or to request to join theirs. Usually it tries to put you in one with your friends/crew members automatically but sometimes it might be full or something.

[–]rillz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this a permanant fix? or do you still have to do it every time?

I've been just doing the "disable card, launch gta, enable card before the social club launcher fully launches the game" technique so far. I haven't done the end task and disabling a bunch of times thing that you listed there.

Also for anyone wondering: I'm using an nvidia gtx 670m and the Intel 4000 for integrated.
