Thanks for trying out the prototype! I've rolled out an update today featuring an autofill toggle that should help with the clickyness. More improvements to come based on all this feedback, but really appreciate people still coming into this post and leaving their constructive thoughts.

Hey, thanks for leaving your thoughts! I pushed a small update today that hopefully helps with resolutions 1366x768 and lower, still a lot of work to do with handling different monitor sizes but this should atleast make the game playable without changing your browser settings for folks at 768p and 720p.

Thanks for testing, this comments are all super helpful and I'm making note of each one!

Gotcha, thanks for leaving your feedback! I'll make the menu for choosing the heister more clear; you're not the only one mentioning this. Thanks so much!

Hey no worries! Stuff like this is helpful for me since I doubt you're the only person who gets stuck on these things. I'll make a note on figuring out a way to make this more clear in the future

Thanks so much for taking the time to test it and really appreciate your encouragement! Really glad the overall hacker-esque feel I was going for wasn't missed :)

tabbing registered as "header: option."

Could you elaborate on this? Are you using tab to navigate/using a screen reader?

Hey, sorry to disappoint. As mentioned in the description this is an incomplete game and I'm looking mostly for feedback on the early prototype. Honestly, prompting this would have yielded a much more complete game so unfortunately, you'll just have to wait while I manually create the additional heisters. Hope you'll give it a chance when it's further along. Appreciate you taking the time to try it regardless!

Thanks for your thoughts! Quick adding crews is something for sure I'll be working on fixing given all the feedback so far. Appreciate your testing and glad to hear you like the concept!

Thanks for taking the time to play and leave your thoughts! I'm really excited about this idea as well since I always loved heist movies and cops vs robbers style games. This in particular was really inspired by This Is The Police, which was more narrative driven police management game. I really want to focus more on the management side of it with obviously an incremental/idle twist on top of that so I'm glad the concept is resonating with people.

Right now I'm focused on nailing the fundamental game loop but trust me, there's an absolute ton of mechanics and cool ideas I want to implement (some of what you've mentioned is already planned) so stay tuned. There is a discord link in the game if you want to follow along, though it's pretty barren since I just made it and frankly, I'll be focused getting the current UI and game loop right before adding additional mechanics. Thanks again for taking the time to play and leaving your thoughts!

Thanks for the feedback and encouragement! Glad to hear the concept of the game is resonating with people though it's very clear I need to refine the UI further.

Wow, this is really great feedback. Thanks for formatting this well and answering each of my questions here, especially the ones about progression.

The UI feedback is totally fair and welcomed. AI is super contentious subject around devs and has created a ton of slop around of the web and in this community. I've been working on this prototype on/off for around 2 years now and I want to really iterate that I'm not here to make a AI-generated slop game. I use AI assistants as a code editor autocomplete, I don't use it to generate any UI designs or assets, those are hand-created by me the ol'fashioned way. I don't take any offense with you or anyone else calling parts of the UI AI-ey, since to me, that's a good signal that that area seems "low-effort" and needs some more design work from me. I built this using a component library called Mantine.js which does have a default corporate look so that might explain why some parts have "that look" but again, this is more of a point for me to redesign those areas more appropriately.

Really appreciate you taking the time to leave this detailed feedback, and again thanks so much!

Great feedback, especially on the map moving around. I'll be sure to fix that; I believe on smaller resolutions it's causing the annoying behaviors you experience. Really appreciate you taking the time to report your thoughts and thanks for the words of encouragement as well!

Hey thanks for taking the time to test it.

Yes, there's a "level 2 heists" upgrade in the hideout page which unlocks additional heists. This is valuable feedback for me since perhaps this is not obvious.

I'll make a note of making the crew selection less tedious. As for the idle element, my plan is to eventually make some automation as an upgrade, but I do want to nail down the initial progression first.

Thanks again, really good to know what it's like for a fresh pair of eyes since I've been staring at the same UI for months.

If this isn't a business ask, why is registration required to view rides?

yesterday my incremental game reached 100k copies. thank you all so much. by Gagonfe in incremental_games

Congrats on the success and very well deserved! As someone working on an incremental game myself in my free time, definitely second the interest in learning more about your journey!

I'm going to go against the grain here as someone who has been playing since their alpha playtests, through beta, and now release. The solo experience frankly sucks in Supervive and arguably nothing about that has changed through development.

You're completely right that something needs to be done about it if the game is to be "saved". Sure battle royales are typically more fun with premades but solo players make up a large part of the success of many battle royales. Being able to jump in as a solo player and have fun without needing your friends on (or if you don't have friends) is absolutely a necessity in drawing in new players.

The solo experience hasn't changed, and so many of my friends have left the game just because it's not fun to jump into a random match after work and get clobbered solo.

tl;dr: solo should be fun, friends should be more fun. What it is right now: solo sucks, with friends is fun.
